A health business not caring about the health of their members is not acceptable. If you care about your well-being, stay away, find a place where they care about protecting their members not this gym which is extremely over-crowded during the evenings. You have been warned.

A	Al on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best non chain gym around the area. HUGE and clean. They just reopened after a fire burned a major part of the gym. The staff is very nice and they do not pressure you in any way to buy a membership compared to other gyms I know. The owner is one of the coolest guy around.

Equality is to treat everyone in the same way not to force a group of people to wear more clothing than others. I had heard of this situation but couldn’t believe it until I saw it myself. You’re losing business to lots of dudes. Definitely do NOT recommend this gym.

N	Nîck Olaïdas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over and all, this is an amazing gym, lot of equipment, machines goes really heavy, which is perfect to suit strength training and bodybuilder type workouts. There is also sections: cardio, girl section, lifting, functional room, boxing room, etc... I give 4 stars instead of 5 because of 2 things, first there is disparity to men and women in the dress code convention (although after 7 years, guys can finally have tank tops but only in a specific section) and that was so unproper and unethical, and also, although the gym advertise as being 24/7, its been many many weeks all together recently, that the gym closes at 22pm and is not 24/7, which deeply impacts some of us with more specific schedules. The new and big functional room (bootcamp, crossfit, olympic lifting area) is also not accessible after 22pm on the days that the gym is open at night. A few details, but worth knowing, before you lock yourself to a 12 months membership.
E	Erik Raymond on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic Gym, they have a great selection of machines, free weights, a cross fit room and even a ladies only section. Big locker rooms and clean, great location, however, will never go back. Had some late fees as I changed my bank card since tap no longer worked and forgot to update it with them. Was accused by the staff of cancelling my payments with the bank. I am not vaccinated so could not go since they put in place the vaccine passport, not their fault, not their decision. Spoke to the manager Martin, I said I would be happy to pay the past membership fee, plus late fees, and even the cancellation fee and would sign up again once the vaccine passport was no longer necessary so long as he waived the charges since when the vaccine passport was in place, since I could not and did not go. He refused and even threatened to send my account to collections if I did not pay. Reluctantly, I will return and pay the 160$ total to Gym Max, but thanks to Martin they will have lost out on a 600$+ yearly membership for X amount of years to gain 40$ (passport/membership duration). In hindsight I should have cancelled when the passport began, slipped my mind. I will find another gym once they open back up to everyone. Great spot great shakes, great upkeep, met the owner once, actually a super nice guy, other gyms with flexible policy available in the area though. If you're looking for high quality equipment at a fair price and you are vaccinated, I still highly recommend it, just left with a personal sour taste.
