Y	Yuna Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a reservation for Gusto 501 on a weekday and we were not disappointed at all! We started by ordering some drinks that were recommended by our server. We went with the La Penicillina (more fruity tasting) and the Ernest Arrabbiato (more spicy). They were both really good and strong! For appetizers, me and my partner split the calamari (which was AMAZING - I couldn’t stop eating it) and the Arancini (also amazing). For mains we both ordered the Mafalde pasta and loved it so much! It’s my go-to dish at Gusto 101 and Nervosa so I knew it would be phenomenal at 501. Aside from the dreamy food, our service was awesome! Our server was super attentive and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable.

My partner couldn’t stop talking about my drink that he had to order it again along with some amazing rum shot that ended the night. Loved the lighting, dining atmosphere, great please to have date night. ? would come back again!

The drinks are nice, the $1 per oz wine is a great deal. Our server Aaron was super knowledgeable on the menu as well. It was definitely hard getting a reservation for 4 for a Thursday in advance so I would say give yourself more than 1 week for a table of more than 4z
C	Cedric S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my 1st time at 501. First impressions for the location was a bit weird. Building looks nice and modern. I believe there is about 4 levels and a rooftop. I really like the decor and the coziness. Service was fantastic. Fast and attentive. I wasn't too fond of the house red but there is a plethora of choice. Food selection is really nice and the list isn't too crazy. Just enough. Let me tell you the pasta and kale were to DIE FOR. You have to try the Kale. Pasta wise the truffle one is DIVINE!! Food came at a very good time, mind you it wasn't busy when we got there. Definitely one of my top 10 in Toronto. Will definitely come back and bring more people.

The pizza was burnt and when we talked to the server, we were told it was "authentic Italian" style. Pizza was good for the non burnt parts. Service was slow but drinks were good. Decor and ambiance was nice, and we were seated at the bar upstairs which was a fun experience.

The food came super fast and seemed very fresh though. They didn't allow us to eat on the upper floors when we first arrived, and when we were leaving, we noticed plenty of people there as you can see at the photos, so 4 stars. I loved the walls' fixtures, gorgeous.

The drinks took forever to arrive at our table and one drink we had to ask where it was as it seemed to be forgotten or took too long to be brought to us. Portions are small for the price and the flavour was mediocre. The food was cool when it arrived at our table but the environment of the restaurant was lively. The best platter from our night was the Campanelle which I recommend getting if you are going.
