I was originally very happy to become a part of this community the only part that I would say needs some severe attention is the management.

They haven''t returned my phone calls or inquiries via website. Granted it's a busy time of year, but I've phoned 3 times, left 2 messages, and emailed via the website request form, all in the space of 2 weeks. Maybe they don't need my business, but common courtesy would be a call or message back to say they are full. I'll update my review if I ever manage to get a hold of them and/or stay there.

I dont even know where to start. I was excited on the adventure to muskoka. Gullwing lake park was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we signed in. The manager knowing rain was coming in wouldnt give us a better campsite as we are all knew our site was a mudhole, even though the lot beside us was empty. Family came by to say hello on their way to their jeep trail and was addressed with rudeness and told they werent even allowed to step out of their vehicle. Things continued to decline as the weekend moved on. Our families jeep broke down and there was no compassion shown for them to stay the night with us or even rent that empty spot beside us. She yelled threatened to call the cops to get them them to leave. I never knew there could be anyone so heartless and rude...did i mention this entire time we had torrential rain? I hear the manager is on her way out on august 14, which I am happy for the other campers because they have all been awesome! Karma will follow this woman i have no doubt..!

Horrible management, medium park. I'd like to start positive. The park has really nice people who have build a great community together. The people are polite, clean and try to make the park as beautiful as it is. The park has a beautiful lake with a small beach. The washrooms could be cleaner, but that's just a small point. But unfortunately, the management ruins the whole place. Janet (the current manager), is the worst park manager we've ever experienced. She's not nice to here guest and even laughs at us because we asked here a nice question about the checkout times. She gave us the feeling that we where not welcome at the park. Local trailer owners told us that the park was totally changed when Janet became the manager. I think this says enough. We had a horrible stay at Gulwing, Janet ruined our weekend. We will never come back here. I think the owner of Gulwing Lake Park should reconsider the position of Janet, he is better of without here.

Just got back from 4 days at Gullwing Lake Park stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage although the cottage is rustic it has a million dollar view. The new manager Stephanie is wonderful and so accommodating, she brought us firewood and when it was raining on Saturday she brought us a TV with a built in DVD player so we could watch movies. Stephanie works hard at making sure the park is a clean enjoyable place for everyone. Check out this diamond in the rough. This park is 20 minutes from Gravenhurst and under 10 minutes to the picturesque town of Bala

We moved into this park as seasonal campers mid summer 2017 from a park in Southern Ontario that our family had been in since 1972. New management took over beginning of Sept and is making much need improvements to the park. The people here make the park enjoyable. There is a sense of community and family. If there is a fire you are welcome to stop and visit. Social activities for seasonal and transient campers almost every weekend. Friendly hello's and helping hands. Many people that camped for a weekend or week this pass summer have moved into the park as seasonal. I urge everyone that came here and was not impressed with past management to give us another try, take a walk up the hill and chat with the seasonals I think you will change your mind.

Had a terrific weekend there in July of 2012, the staff and campers were very friendly. Nice quiet campgrounds, very much family friendly. There were activities planned for he campers everyday and everyone had a great time. Chris and Lorna were the best campground supervisors I've ever met, they were always there to help. I highly recommend this park. AAA+++

Wanda is a great host at Gullwing Park. Most of the park is seasonal residents but everyone we passed eagerly invited us back. Wanda ensured we got to our site and exited our spot with ease. The park is on a hill so be sure you come prepared if you plan to not stay at the lower level. The spots at the top are nice but there a few tight turns if you have a larger unit. The beach and water are perfect for a family and ours girls could not get enough time on the play set. We had fun jumping from the floating dock and playing horseshoes. We were welcomed to a local fire for great conversation and a few laughs. (Thanks George and Christine). The unserviced sites near the river are beautiful. The park is very clean, quiet and friendly! Can’t wait for next year!
