I rent 1-2 times a year and can’t imagine using any other rental company again. It was clean, well stocked and in a great location. We can’t wait to visit their other properties in the future. Sharon and Mark have thought of everything you could possibly want in a vacation rental and then put it in one of the most stunning cottages you could ask for. There are a lot of cottage rentals out there, not many do it as well as Lakeside Cottages. We booked again for next summer before we left.

Roomy, spotless, tastefully decorated to make one feel instantly relaxed. Sharon ensured our questions were answered quickly. It’s a short drive to nearby towns and hiking trails. My husband and I are looking forward to a return stay. We will definitely recommend Lakeside Cottages to family and friends!

Enter the beautiful cottage with the floor to ceiling picturesque windows giving the most gorgeous view. My daughters wanted to move in. Everything was perfect. We only stayed for a perfect winter weekend. But I imagine any season would be amazing here. The hosts Sharon and Andrew were wonderful from start to finish. Will definitely be back!! ?
S	Sam LaCarte on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A group of friends and I stayed at the Sapphire cottage recently and had an incredible time. The cottage itself is gorgeous, inside and out. The cottage was very clean and well kept, with a fully stocked kitchen as well as loads of great board games and books. The bedrooms were all very nice with comfortable beds, freshly cleaned sheets and bedding as well. The hot tub and other amenities all added an extra bonus to the cottage. Fully stocked on firewood to have a great campfire as well. The location itself was great, very close to drive into any of the local communities with plenty of activities and restaurants around. The cottage itself is private, with a great view of the lake - the area is very quiet as well. Lots of nice hiking directly around the cottage as well. Dealing with the staff was a great experience, plenty of help and information and very friendly overall. The amount of care and detail really made the experience a step above. I cannot recommend Lakeside Cottages enough, especially for a winter getaway - the winter rate is an absolute steal for what you're getting! 10/10, highly recommended.

The cottage itself is stunning -- modern finishes, beautifully decorated and lots of windows to bring in the beautiful sunlight. I especially loved the beautiful artwork displayed throughout the space from local artists. Mark and Amber have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. From the fully equipped chef’s kitchen, to the fitness studio, to wide array of water amenities available for use. Some of the highlights of our trip included; nightly campfires where we enjoyed family chats in the yellow Muskoka chairs; canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding throughout the Muskoka bay; endless hours of swimming in the lake and warming up in the relaxing hot tub; bbq lunches and escaping the hot sun under the beautiful pergola; morning workouts in the fitness studio; and Taking in the 180 degree Muskoka Bay view during the radiant evening sunsets! Thank you Mark and Sharon for providing a space for our family to create many memories together. We hope to be back again next year!
A	Alexandra Kostich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family spent a few days at Topaz in October 2021 and it was the perfect place for our fall family getaway. We spent plenty of time on the deck – which was very spacious – admiring the exquisite fall colors and lake. The cottage is beautiful, especially because of the carefully chosen artwork and decorations. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessities and had any utensils and appliances you may need to prepare delicious meals, including a great selection of spices. Additionally, it had many things that you might not necessarily bring with you, such as band aids, scissors, writing pads etc. – it was obvious that Mark and Sharon thought of everything. The location of the cottage is also convenient, since it is close to the Red Leafs hotel, Port Carling and Bala – we visited all three for day trips and got some wonderful photos. The cottage truly displayed Muskoka in the best light and we would highly recommend it!
