I	Ian Tulloch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i arrived the last week of june 2020 and stayed at sandy haven. it was cozy 2 bedroom cottage with big living room and a screened on porch.. perfect for enjoying the beautiful of lake muskoka and listen to the calming waves take away all my worries.... i loved the cottage and friendliness of the owners that i immediately booked another week at shady nook july 18th 2020 for 1 week.. this 2 bedroom cottage boast a beautiful direct view of lake muskoka from the couch or screened in porch... i also enjoyed being able to use the kayak and the fact that the water is shallow for a long ways..... i recommend duffs cottages to anyone who wants a fun yet relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of the city... i also rebooked shady haven for sept 2020 .. best 3 weeks of 2020 will be spent at duffs.... the cottages were clean. cozy and each one seems to have its own unique charm...

Their beach is great and sandy! They have toys appropriate for all age groups which is awesome because it’s one less thing you have to pack for the kiddos. I highly recommend Duffs cottages for a nice family gate away.
A	Anna Meszesan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent August 8 - 15, 2020 up at Duff's Cottages. The hosts (Marilyn, Ian and Ben) were very welcoming and friendly. The property that the cottages are located on is beautiful. The rustic cottages were great for our family and were very clean. All of us really enjoyed our time there. My mother, brother and sister-in-law came up for a few days as well. We kayaked, swam (for hours in the morning and then again for hours after lunch), and made great use of the paddle boats. My mother (she is 77) can't swim, but we were still able to get her out to the floating dock and lily pad! We enjoyed seeing all the wildlife up there too (ducks, geese, snapping turtles, fish etc.). Great family time playing card games and board games. We enjoyed playing volleyball with some of the other cottagers too. Star gazing was done almost every night, it was gorgeous! Everyone we met up there was super friendly. Looking forward to getting up there next summer. Thanks for a wonderful summer getaway. Looking forward to seeing you all again.

I have stayed at Duff's several times and will continue to book this fabulous resort. The cottages are clean and have everything you could possibly need during your stay. THINGS I LOVE ABOUT DUFF'S: It's incredibly family friendly, I have a 3 year old, she can run around all day on the huge lawn, play on the play structure and I know she is safe playing on the sandy beach as there is no big drop off in the lake. They have toys for everyone, I enjoyed kayaking and taking in the beauty of the wonderful lake. They also have a peddle boat, lily pad and a paddle boat, my husband enjoyed fishing every morning, plenty of fish to be had. Your days can be packed with fun and adventures or you can spend the day relaxing and let the Duffs Muskoka air calm you, the view is incredibly special. My daughter loved the fire with smores at the end of the day and if you are lucky Ben will get out his guitar and sing a few songs for you, he is awesome! It really adds to the whole cottage experience. I want to thank the lovely owners, Marilyn, Ian and Ben for making our family vacations truly memorable. They are such a welcoming family and you will leave the resort being their friends.

A new screen door and new pots and pans to use. Marilyn, Ian and Ben are fantastic hosts. Our family loved swimming in the lake all morning and afternoon. Great kayaking with my husband on the lake too. My son and daughter were very sad to leave, they wanted to stay longer (I don't blame them). Looking forward to our visit next summer. Thanks for everything!

Lots of water activities, playground and tons of property for kids(and adults) to enjoy. The dock is a great place to catch some sunshine during the day and there is a place to have a cozy campfire at night.
