★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing cottage weekend vacation!! Such a clean and safe environment for adults and children. Perfect getaway from the city. Beautiful view, straight from your kitchen window/ belcony. Check-in and Check-out was very organized. Owners of the cottage were extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely something to Summer or Winter.

The owner and operator is an amazing lady who was very friendly and allowed me and my husband to upgrade our reservation at the last moment (literally after we arrived to check in to a different bunkie cottage) the cottage we ended up with was sparkling clean and ever so inviting with a huge deck overlooking the lake... Our 4 night stay with our dogs was the most memorable and comfortable vacation ever with a private bbq dinner and private huge bonfire every night! Definitely looking forward to revisiting next year and year after that!

Karina was friendly and responsive from the moment we inquired about our booking, until we checked out.
We stayed in cottage #6 and it was very quaint, well maintained and clean. The resort itself was very clean and quiet. Lots of paddle boats, canoes, kayaks and paddle boards for use.
We had a birthday in our group and Karina even decorated with a sign and balloons!
Would love to come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the moment we booked to the moment we checked out, the hospitality and Karina was amazing! The cottage we rented for a week in July exceeded our expectations. It was clean, had all the amenities we needed and the closed in deck with glass viewing gave us hours of relaxation looking at the lake. We have already booked for next year and can't wait to go back!!! Bill & Heather

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay was perfect. The bunkie was cozy, stylishly rustic on the inside, clean with a super comfy mattress. The grounds are well maintained but not overly manicured as is what I prefer being up north in Muskoka. This vacation property dates back to the 1940s; old school charm but with all the upgrades. The Lake view is gorgeous. Several docks are available to lounge on and to embark from with supplied kayaks, canoes and rowboats. Hospitality was friendly, caring and genuine. So glad we found this gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoying my cup of coffee lakeside before heading back home as I write this review. Cottage life is the best life!!! We stayed at the Aspen and it had everything we needed. Right on the lake. Need I say more. This is our third time coming. This time with our son who had a blast with nature. Looking at the caterpillars with his magnifying glass, watching the chipmunks running around, playing with his fishnet in the water, it was his first cottage experience and definitely a memorable one. The vibe at Muskoka Shores is fun, relaxing, welcoming. It’s a quick drive into Port Carling and Huntsville which have very cute little downtowns. Lastly the owner. Karina is always available. Sweet, kind and treats you like family. Can’t wait for our next visit!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing place! Nicest location! The owner treats you like family- Very helpful, supportive and courteous! The cottages are very well maintained with personal touches. The view and access to lake is very good both in winter and summer. We would stay again and again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely fantastic experience! The hut was cozy and the perch are voracious. I feel like I'm giving away a secret spot!
The only thing better than the fishing was our host Karina. An amazing person that works hard to make your trip safe and enjoyable. We've been here twice and will hopefully get back there soon.
