★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked this charter as an experience gift for our son's 16th birthday and I have to say we could not have chosen a better experience or better hosts. Rick, our captain, set our expectations realistically before we left and set about to exceed those expectations by a nautical mile. We caught salmon, rockfish, ling cod and capped off the experience with a bucket load of the tastiest prawns ever. Roxanne , the other half of this fantastic team kept the stories coming and lines baited. Anyway, ask anyone within earshot in Pender Harbour and they will tell you these two are the "go to" team if you want a successful trip on all fronts. Thanks Rick and Roxanne for making our son's birthday experience so fulfilling (and for us too!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with a group of five - everyone caught a fish! Roxanne and Rick are great and we had an awesome time (did a half day fishing trip). Also caught a lot of prawns which were delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rick was easy to communicate with and has a great wealth of knowledge to offer. Everyone in our group caught at least one fish which was great. We ended up only being able to keep one Chinook as all the others were undersized, but the one keeper was more than enough for us ?. We had a fun time out on the waters. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a charter yesterday with 7 guys total. Rick and Roxanne are amazing and we all definitely got our moneys worth from the trip. Boat is huge so no one is cramped, great rods and equipment, very knowledgeable about the area and local fisheries; all around a stellar experience. We will definitely be back next year! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks Rick and Roxanne for a very memorable day. Our time together flew past and to top it off, got some beautiful Prawns and 2 fantastic Chinook Salmon. You took the extra time to take us to your special fishing spot and the weather was just fine.
I truly hope that we can enjoy you and your boat another time. We will certainly talk about this day forever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a family fishing trip for half day with Gulf Rascal Charters. Most of us have not fished before and we all had a blast. Rick and Roxanne are great hosts, very knowledgeable and knew the spots to fish. We caught so many canary rock fish we had to release some back yo the deep ocean. The kids caught a large ling cod and some of the big fishes. Spotted prawns were a bonus. We would recommend to book with Gulf Rascal Charters for your fishing experience while visiting the Sunshine Coast! Cheers. Amanda
