I’ve been going to GS for about 4 years now , I’ve had just about everyone there cut/color my hair :) All the stylists are fantastic, my last few visits have been with Lily & Liza , very friendly and knowledgeable staff , always good for a laugh. Definitely recommend them ;)

Fine if you don't mind paying $80 for a 1/2 trim and leaving with mediocre results, hair wasn't smooth and silky as it should of been after shampooing and conditioning. Or if you don't mind spending $200 on a straightener from there that doesn't run through your hair smoothly. I've officially had it with this over priced place. I paid $40 to get a couple inches cut off today from a smaller business on Victoria trail. Way better results.

I really enjoyed going here for the few times I had. My stylist Alisa is amazing. Her personality right down to the cut and style. Unfortunately I will never be back for how I was treated. I made a 9:45am appointment but was told if I arrive at 9:30 that I would get in then. I arrived at 9:30 and was greeted with confused straight faced women who couldn't be bothered to crack even a smile and pleasantly greet other customers than their very own clients. I'd like to add that the front desk often looks confused when i walk in and have made an advanced appointment. I was ignored until just after 10am with no update. Just staff whispering how I was still waiting there. They didn't even notice I left, they were all too concerned about getting eachother coffee. I seen a missed call on my phone approx an hour after I left (I guess they noticed). No voicemail was left. I called back to speak to a manager and the front desk has ZERO phone etiquette. The front desk girl was giggling and saying "I don't know, she just wants a manager." The manager came on the line (Lily) and said hello I said hello and then she said "yeah?" I asked if there was anyone else to speak with as I've had a poor experience and based on the phone conversation she wasn't the right person. They refused any owner information so I opted to write a Google review. I don't get the opportunity to treat myself like this and I'm very busy. So thanks for the experience. And please teach your staff how to use their mute or hold button on the phone should they choose to insult customers on the line .

I was sick and tired of my long drab and damaged hair. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, but after consulting with Drew, I felt confident in her suggestions. I was not wrong! She did an amazing job, and was sweet and personable too. I can’t forget to include Ivona in this review. She has a very sweet and bubbly disposition, and kept checking on me periodically to top up my tea (which was deliciously refreshing). Both of these sweet ladies made my experience a top notch one, and I’d be happy to recommend the salon to all of my friends!

I hate to post this but back in April 2019 I got my already naturally blonde hair lightened (only the 4th time I've ever coloured it). When I left the salon it already felt thinner but I didn't think too much of it. However, after a few days it literally starting falling out and breaking off. I probably lost 4-5 inches of hair after returning a month later to get it all evened out. The cost of the original cut and colour cost me $260.00 and after losing a lot of hair and returning I feel like the money should have been returned, but it was not offered. I went back another time to have a treatment and had to pay, and went back again to get some clip in extensions blended and was charged for this as well. After 10 months my hair is still thin and breaking and I have to get regular trims (at another salon) in order to help it grow. The worst part of this is that I had to schedule my wedding for 2021 instead of 2020 in the hopes that my hair would regain its health and some length. I know that people make mistakes but Lisa never owned up to her mistake and just said "I don't know why this happened." I still feel sick when I look at this picture (and all photos of me and my hair for the last 6 months). Please be warned if you are getting your hair coloured here.

Highly recommended for your future haircut with designer Julie, here. If you are looking for a type of designer, who has sharp sense of hair styling no matter what gender you are, you may go ahead find Julie at this salon. If you are meticulous on your hair style, be specify and may present an anticipated hair image.

My son and I always comes here for Van. A haircut, color or perm. Van never disappoints. What disappointed me today is that I called a few minutes ago to book an appointment for a haircut with Van but what I got was a put on hold for 6 to 8 minutes by this rude receptionist who never got back at me who was stupid enough not to put the phone on mute which I can hear her just do some yapping! And then I called again that was the only time I was able to book an appointment with Van. To the Manager or whoever has Authority here, Educate or better yet train your people in answering calls for appointment or queries or you will lose your regular customer. It will be your loss!
