Great Canadian Pizza& Donair - Edmonton
As our name states our focus was to provide great tasting pizza made with quality ingredients from the day, we opened our doors. Within a year of we opened our first store, we got very famous for the quality and fresh pizza slices. Long lineups formed in our Downtown store and people started requesting us to start whole pizza for delivery and pickup.
Obeying our customers demand we soon started pickup and delivery of Pizzas maintaining the same quality and unlimited toppings options which was another unique feature of GCP. We guarantee top quality and handpicked “Always Fresh” ingredients in all our Pizzas that we cook.
Are pizzas are cooked with special recipes by professional chefs to provide quality food with crispiness. From the day we opened our first store to date, we are always listening to our customers and travelling with them in the journey of food extravaganza. Today we have multiple locations across Calgary and have now opened our first Edmonton store in March 2021 due to higher demand from Edmontonians, who have tried our restaurants in Calgary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a pizza and a donair from here this evening. The donair was good. That is why they got 2 stars instead of one.
However I asked for the pizza to be cooked well done and with nice leoparding. If you're in the pizza business you should 100% know what that means. It's practically a pizza term.
Now if you look at the pizza I received. It's not even cooked to regular bake. That's a light bake. Not at all what I ordered. They closed right after I picked up my order. But I will return this white undercooked pizza tomorrow!
Update May 22/2022
They changed the donairs. Now a jumbo is the size of any other place's regular. The wrap is no longer special. And you get the least amount of meat of any donair I have ever had. Never going back here again. And the donair meat is not browned at all. Extremely disappointing. So now just 1 star. Cuz you can't give 0 stars!

Wanted to give a small party to my friends for my promotion and this was the best decision I took for ordering.
Everyone loved the food and asked me the place I ordered it.
Plus the staff working there is friendly and helpful too.. they really helped me making good choices for placing the order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I first went to this place around a week after opening and had their Chester fried chicken and pizza. A lovely lady was at the front and service was efficient my chicken was deliciously crispy and the portions were generous, the pizza was average. However I went a few months later for the chicken and found it to be a little soggy but still enjoyable, I gave them a few more chances and it was never as crispy as the first, I’m not sure why they would cut on frying time when I am more than willing to wait (and have let them know), I also ordered their chicken tenders and they were more like chicken fries (even skinnier maybe) so I would not go back anymore.
Side comment their gravy was very acidic but the fries were really nice in my opinion. I think it’s just an issue of retraining the employees or something, they definitely have potential

This cute little family owned kitchen is filled with kind and caring community members. They love what they do and it definitely shows. The shawarma, pizza, and poutine are to die for..... 10 out of 10.

I was driving by late one night and thought I'd try their donair.
Since it was late the donair didn't look very appetizing. They had pizza by the slice for sale so i though I'd grab one slice of Hawaiian.
The chicken tandoori pizza looked good so i asked for a slice of that too. Very glad i did because it was absolutely delicious.
I didn't expect it to be so good, the jalepenos, onion and chicken were spot on.
The pizza dough was cooked perfectly and that was the best pizza I've had other than when my mom makes pizza.
The Hawaiian was nice, however just didn't compare to the flavors of the chicken tandoori.
