The chai masala specialty drink would good if you add some fresh milk or almond milk to it. They can adjust the sugar level too, but I didn't know the drink was sweet so they remade the drink for me. I asked if I could add some milk to my drink which they said they couldn't do that unless they remade the drink. Later they said they couldn't remake the drink, but could add some almond milk. Customer service was confusing and I felt embarrassed, but I appreciated the effort.

From now on until forever I'll make sure to stop by here for tea! I read the masala chai is to die for, although I love chai, when it comes to loose leaf teas I want something extra. I had a great time talking to Mathew and he walked me through some of their more popular teas and how he likes to drink them. He was so friendly and helpful. Granville Island Tea Company is listed as a must stop location so I was determined to get something and meet the people who make this an iconic stop. The Rose Black tea immediately caught my attention. I've had a rose green tea before and really liked it but this one is 100 xs better!! The Rose adds a beautiful floral sort of fruity taste to the harsher black tea and the little rose petals are very pretty! The aroma alone is very strong. On the bag it's suggested to steep for 2-3 min and I normally would do a shorter steep for a black tea, but you'll really like the taste of this one darker.

I really enjoy this tea shop. I was so excited when I realized I could order online. I don't often get a chance to go to Vancouver, but when I do I try to stop by Granville Island Tea company. Their 'Capetown Rooibos' tea is one of my favorites teas. I buy some to take home each time I stop by.

Had excellent service! The gentleman behind the counter helped me choose a delicious tea based on my answers to some questions about my preferences. If I lived in the area, I would always buy my tea here. (I do plan on ordering from them, however, even though I live in Ontario.) Highly recommended for tea lovers!

Hands down the best chai I've ever had. I could choose if I wanted to add extra ginger or cayenne pepper to enhance the drink. I opted for ginger and am so glad I did! It was blended to perfection before served hot and frothy. The sweet level was just right, as was the balance of other spices in the tea. At the tea counter, I was helped in selecting a loose leaf tea blend as a gift for a friend. The girl at the counter made some excellent recommendations, which I really apprecaited. There are so many teas to choose from! If looking for a drink to enjoy while on the island or a tea for later, this is the best place to find both.

I'm currently lamenting all the times I opted for coffee when I came to Granville Island! The masala chai I had today was divine. I had mine with ginger and cayenne pepper which added a nice kick (they ask if you'd like to have the ginger pulp strained as well). Half the sweetness was just enough. It was the perfect drink for a rainy morning and I imagine it would be such a comfort on a colder day. In addition, the price is completely reasonable (4.50 for 16 oz) and the two young ladies working were kind and diligent. I can't wait to stop by next time.

This place is dope! A tea lover’s heaven, its a beautiful and mezmorizing site at the insane amount of different blends they have on the shelves. Although I am loving the warm weather, im stoked to go and try some of the gnlary steeped tea varieties when its more suitable to drink a hot cozy beverage. They also sell a great range of equipment and gift ideas. Anyway, grabbed an Iced Fruit Tea to go which was super yummy, no added sugars or preservatives and extremely refreshing to enjoy out on the dock. Support local!
