AMAZING PLACE TO TRAIN! Straight up, I’ve built a new family at this gym and I wouldn’t be able to leave even if I tried. I've been going to Grant's for 2 years now, they’ve seen me at my best and they’ve seen me at my worst… and that’s progress. The environment around the gym is always positive, and we are constantly supporting each other. The trainers at Grant’s are some of the best people I know, they always push me to my limits and beyond. If you want to be a well-rounded, and successful fighter I highly suggest this gym. Even if you’re just trying to get in shape or stay fit, this is definitely the place to be.

I've been waiting to get some experience before writing a review to get the full picture. Now after 9 months of training at this gym I can say I absolutely recommend this gym to everyone. Whether a professional boxer, newbie or just someone looking to get into shape, the coaches at grants will accommodate. Great staff, friendly positive motivating environment that pushes you further than you ever thought you can go. Lost 30 lbs without dieting and had a blast doing it.

Ive signed up with this gym for only the month of september 2020 as i was only in the city for a few weeks. The staff was very understanding and didn't try to shove a contract down my throat which i like. Right off the bat I noticed the boxing in this gym is pretty good, they have a lot of active competing pro fighters training here. I learned a lot during my short stay. Although due to the Covid pandemic the classes were very limited as far as training goes, as in no class sparring, rarely any close contact training with other students. It was mostly technique training on the bag and conditioning. Regarding cleanliness of the gym, ive seen some reviews stating how sweaty the gym is.. This is true, it is pretty sweaty but its a martial arts gym, name me a martial arts gym that doesn't have this problem. That being said i do see a lot of random clutter around gym specially near the ring. Id give the cleanliness a 6/10. The Instructors were very social and knowledgeable. Although during the classes the culture of the gym is very "in your face". I heard a lot of yelling and cussing from the instructors in an attempt to motivate the students, sometimes it can even come across as condescending. That being said, not once did it ever feel like it was personal or malicious, it seems like this is just their style of teaching. If this isn't your motivation/learning style it might be off putting for you. The workout equipment near the back of the gym is in good quantity and quality, I only see a few people using it so it was always available whenever i needed it. Probably my favorite part of the gym. Overall this is a great gym, If you have asperations in competing in your martial arts journey especially if you like to box I recommend this gym.

I've been going to this gym for 10+ years on and off due to work and school. I would like to firstly address that this gym is a great gym if you are looking for competitive boxing as I find many gyms are strictly only for fitness. They teach you the fundamentals of boxing and the team is encouraging as well as tough. Don't get me wrong, you can also get a great workout if fitness is your main focus as the instructors will push you to work at your best even at your own level and pace. RG the gym owner has always been welcoming and is very passionate about his gym as well as his fighters. He does his job right as he truly cares about his fighters and the people who uses his service. The gym, the coaches and the fighters are all like family, which is hard to find in a competitive setting. Everyone welcomes you with open arms and makes no judgement whatsoever. Not only have I put some serious work into boxing while I train here, but I have a lot of fun as there is a lot of laughs and giggles when necessary. Five star gym all the way.... I now live in Vancouver but if I ever move back to Toronto, no doubt that this is my to go to gym! It will always have a special place in my heart! RG, thank you for everything.

The only place for boxing in the GTA. 7am classes with Coach Mehdi is absolutely the best way to start my day. The skill level of instructors surpass any gym I have been to. Highly recommended

After paying for an annual membership up front, I have been consistently evaded in my attempts to be refunded for the period of time in which the gym was non-operational during COVID. I have been promised calls back multiple times and never receive them. Grant’s MMA refuses to return the $632.80 I am owed (8 months at $70+tax - March 13, 2020 to November 19, 2020). I have trained at multiple gyms across Ontario and I am shocked at how this is being handled. I will update my review if this problem is resolved. If you are reading this then this gym has still not returned this money.
