G	Google Guide on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This independent food market offers fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and grocery items. There is an Asian influence in the selection for local shoppers but you would be surprised by the number of mainstream items and specialty items they offer. The store is packed full of merchandise, so if you don't see what you require, you need to ask as it may be 'hidden' on the shelves next to other items. Very competitive prices on fresh food. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is free street parking and a few spots at their back door in the alley.

The manager wanted to give me another one when I wanted to return it completely because it was really bad inside. The fruits in general are not that fresh. The avocados mushy and not so inviting to eat. And there is a smell inside the store that it makes me feel to not going again. This place looks so old and they are so many updates upgrades needs to be done in general. Two stars and that's a maximum for rating.
K	Ken Gardner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the gems of Marpole! The quality, variety, and prices are all great. I always start my food shopping at Grand Marpole Market. If there is anything they don't have, I just hop across the street to Safeway. I've noticed the same behavior in other shoppers. The parsley and cilantro are really tasty, and reasonably priced. As well as a great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, they have many packaged Asian products.

I like the fact that they also carry items such as sauces, oils, and canned goods that I would consider speciality items because other grocers don't sell them. Prices are reasonable for some items. One of the cons is that the place doesn't have a "clean" appearance so that can be a bit off putting. Some of the staff are very friendly but some don't even greet you.

Y	Y Sale on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been shopping here for 15 years and it's my go-to place for fresh Asian vegetables and oranges. Their produce is way cheaper than anywhere else in the neighbourhood. It's not the highest quality produce and depending on which day of the week you go shopping, you might have to do a bit of picking to get the good ones. Still, I like coming here because the staff are quite friendly and it's a nice and quick in/out shopping experience.
