★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy bar that makes you feel like you’re in a small town! The staff were really nice and the trivia was fun! Nachos were also good although they gave us a few dirty plates.. but they didn’t notice and apologized and were really nice about it so it was obviously a mistake! Would definitely come back for more trivia

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is this bar/restaurant still open? No Uber eats.. I watched someone eat kraft dinner instead of homemade Mac & Cheese. Allmost made me puke! Same old broke and depressed crowd... I'll pass... It's different now. Looks to be the best "skid row" bar around town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stood at the entrance for 5 mins without being acknowledged. Like I was invisible. (I'm 6 ft 1 in a neon yellow shirt.) So I left. Truly weird experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super friendly staff and love the divey feel to it. Great casual spot to go out for a drink and watch the world pass by for an hour. Nachos were very good too, nice and hot fresh out of the oven. Only reason I gave 4 stars is the menu could use a little more thought, and could feature a few more local brews, but we will be back soon to try the KD and perogies!

As for a review below from "Van foodie" about supposed condescension and racism, this is very untrue - as an outsider who just moved to the Marpole area. The folk who frequent this establishment are class A, open minded people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best KD in town. Yes they sell KD. Live music every Friday night, excellent staff and fun people. If you like cheers, you'll like this place. It really is a place where everybody knows your name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem! Wonderful, friendly service. First time going and was taken by surprise at how welcoming the environment was. Also discovered (by accident) they have karaoke every Wednesday night beginning at 9pm. Highly recommended!
