Giving this joke of a law firm 1 star is already being too generous. This law firm is completely disorganized, it is truly a gongshow! They will hold your funds longer than necessary, collecting unearned interest on money being held in escrow, finding unjust excuses to not release funds in a timely manner. They will make countless mistakes, completely lack any professional skills and communication, and have been an overall frustrating experience that costs the client time and money. Lawyers are a dime a dozen in this city, take your business elsewhere!

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! Honestly the worst real estate lawyer service I’ve ever had. He is cheap, but to you pay for what you get, which is nothing. If you have any issues at all with your purchase or sale, Gong is the most difficult person on earth to get a hold of. His paralegals are unsympathetic, and doesn’t really care about anything. I’ve learnt my lesson when it comes to making such a big investment. Honestly feel so lost in my situation with this firm right now. Potentially losing hundreds of thousands because of his negligence.

DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. These people are shady as heck. I closed my townhouse with them, and they tried holding $85,000 in escrow for a week. When they told me I wouldn't have the funds until Monday (a FULL WEEK AFTER RECEIVING BUYER FUNDS/closing). They were claiming the Property Management company wouldn't release an estoppel until the PAD condo fees cleared their bank account and there was nothing they could do about it, claiming they needed to wait and ensure there are no special assessments or other outstanding balances. When I pressured them more, they released a partial payment on the 4th business day after close and continued to withhold $20k of my funds. I called my Property Management company to discuss and they forward me a very detailed email they had sent a week earlier to the lawyer that stated very, very clearly that the condo fee was the only thing outstanding, and that they gave the lawyer an option to undertake the $300 and they refused. This law firm held $85,000 because there was the potential that they could get "stuck" with a $300 bill. I can understand them withholding the $300 and releasing the rest immediately, but in this situation, I can only assume they're either incompetent or shady. Also, they paid my mortgage out 3 days late, and then transferred the mortgage payout late fees to my payout and passed that bill along to me. At this point, they still owe me $350 and haven't paid out all the funds I am owed, and are refusing to eat the cost of the mortgage payout late fees. If I were trying to close on buying another property, I would have been royally f*cked. I cannot stress enough, do not use this law office to do your real estate closing. They're liars, and based on the number of people in this thread who have had issues getting funds released in a timely manner, are trying to make a business of holding your funds in escrow in a daily interest savings account as long as possible to earn some additional dough off the interest in their clients' money. This was a truly terrible experience. Don't bother calling them, even if they're offering a decent price. If I could give zero stars, I would.
