Great place! The customer service is unlike any other store I've been to. I've spent many hours combing through their selection- while being respectfully left alone. When I do need assistance, the staff is attentive, so friendly, and so incredibly helpful!! Golf Town is now the first place and usually the only place I go for my club & bag needs.

My Husband & I just Purchased new golf clubs from here. The Employee who helped us (Gilles) was amazing!! Answered all of our questions & helped both of us find the clubs we were looking for. He was very friendly and made the whole experience of being in store very enjoyable. I highly recommend you seek him out if your looking for new clubs. Thanks for all your help Gilles!!!

Visiting from Ontario and was looking to get a putter re-gripped. I was really impressed with the hospitality and service of the entire team. I’ve been to many Golf Town stores and it was great to see how knowledgeable and helpful all the staff were as I walked around the store overhearing the help they were giving other customers. So great to see! I ended buying some shoes there as well! Keep it up.

I was mistakenly charged for a book that I was supposed to receive for free. I phoned and they said I needed to come back to the store and return the book for a credit. When I got back to the store they decided to give me the book for free and $20 off the club's I had previously purchased for my inconvenience of having to drive back to the store. I was impressed. I haven't seen this type of positive customer service in a long time. Way to go Golf Town Shawnessey! A happy customer.

I dropped $1200 on 3 new clubs here yesterday. After deciding on the clubs I wanted to get them regripped with a larger mid size grip to match what I have on my irons. Unfortunately they didn’t have the grip in stock. After chatting with the salesman he told me to bring in my old clubs any weekday and they could swap the grips for me since they couldn’t accommodate me. Stopped in today with both new/old clubs and they’re charging me $100 to swap the grips. After talking to the service manager about what the sales guy had told me yesterday, he says “ ya that’s been going on for years but we don’t do that”. If you’re a manager and you know of something that shouldn’t be happening isn’t it somewhat your responsibility to get it corrected. I also mentioned I’d be leaving a negative review but they didn’t care one bit. Also where’s your customer service GOLFTOWN? I was willing to buy the grips yesterday but you couldn’t accommodate me. You’d think after dropping $1200 on 3 new clubs that you’d be able to take care of a customer and swap a few grips for them especially after the sales guy said you would. Oh right but you already got the sale and now you don’t care. Great place to shop if you can get by the typical corporate greed and poor customer service after they have your money. Update - I received a call this morning from the store manager…Scott. We later met in store when I was picking up my clubs to discuss my experience with the service department. Scott ensured me that this is not the way Golftown Calgary South does business. We both agreed there were a few different options the service manager could’ve used to make my experience a better one. Scott took some actions to make the situation right and let me know that my experience would be used as a coaching moment for his staff. No matter how big your business is, your customer service is what matters most. Thanks for reaching out Scott!

Had outstanding service today. Incredibly insightful and thoughtful about what kind of clubs my wife would need (xmas gift shopping for her). An incredible selection by the way. great parking which is a bonus at christmastime. I am so happy i went there today that even though it's way at the bottom of the city, I will be happy to go again and again. thank you very much. I apologize as i don't recall the young man's name who helped me but man he was awesome

After having some initial problems, the management team reached out to me personally and shown genuine care for me. I am very impressed with how they went the extra mile for their customer - it’s great to see that kind of customer care. I will definitely continue coming back to this location! Scott was absolutely phenomenal - very caring, polite and great professionalism.
