I love coming here every time I come down to Calgary. It's the highlight my my trip every time! I just love the vibe and aura of Golden Dragon Hot Pot.

P	Phil L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is quite difficult to find via GPS if you are not familiar with the area already. The service was good and food is good. The meat they serve are very high quality however the menu could be expanded. I found the selection to be a bit limited compared to the other places I have been. The broth was ok but could be more flavorful. The spicy side looked spicy but it was very subtle. Overall I would say it's good to go in group to try out this unique setting. I wouldn't say it's the best in town but it's one of the better ones. If you are someone who likes to have a some beers with their hotpot you may want to wait till they get there liquor license approved.

The seating is intimate and it allows for you to really engage with people you came with. Along with some very VERY flavourful food the staff was tentative, enthusiastic and kind. The kicker is the price, you can spend as little or as much as you want here as you are encouraged to eat in rounds. Lovely place, will be coming back ??

Quantity of each dish is more than I expected, with high quality. I was surprised the soup base is half price every Tuesday! Love the rice pudding dessert as well! I would highly recommend this hot pot and will visit again for sure.

I had mentioned over the phone that I was vegetarian and everyone working at the restaurant accommodated perfectly and provided a tomato broth. They even explained to me which sauces contained seafood and meat so that I could avoid them! Everything was so delicious and my friends and I had a great time! The staff were friendly and kind and made our night wonderful.

Probably my new favorite hot pot in the city! The spicy broth was addictive and I highly recommend to order the 'hot pot vermicelli' - everyone at our table was obsessed with these noodles! I heard they plan to move to a better location if they keep doing well, so I really hope they do! ?

It was really fun and great way to do group dining! we did 2 table/pots with 3 broths each and we tried a ton of stuff! the garlic beef really stole the show though I highly recommend it! The spicy broth and the spicy beef together gets the sweat going. We enjoyed squid, shrimp lamb, beef, & wagu beef, and a bunch of veggies the bamboo is scrumptious too!

Great service and very friendly. The food was good and at a reasonable price. Table was a bit small but cozy. Love the idea with the serviettes in the drawers of each side of the square table.

The service was absolutely top notch, I called to make a reservation and the owner Patrick did an excellent job in hosting me earlier today from beginning till the end. The server Jessica did an amazing job with answering all my questions and also provided flawless customer service to everyone inside the restaurant! She was super helpful to a family that was trying hot pot for the first time, I noticed how great she was because they were sitting right next to me! She took the time to explain everything and guided them to make the right selections based on their preferences. The meat selection I got was very premium and worth it for the price! I recommend getting the wagyu and pair it with the lobster ball! The broth selection is really thoughtful because they have a fully vegetarian one. I got all three in one go to try all of them at once! Give this restaurant a shot for your next best hot pot experience!
