About Ginger Beef Peking House

Calgary-style ginger beef is our signature dish. Our head chef, Stanley Leung, blends memories of the past with the taste of the present to create this tantalizing entrée. This western take on a northern Chinese dish consists of sliced beef, ginger, and green onions. It’s so popular that we named our restaurant after it!

In addition to this popular course, we serve a variety of other flavorful dishes, including mouth-watering appetizers, savoury soups, and enticing entrées. We have put our own western spin on many traditional Chinese dishes in order to appeal to the appetites of the people of Calgary. With Chinese takeout, delivery, and dine-in options, Ginger Beef Bistro House is right for any occasion.

If you have questions about any of our restaurants or franchising, please contact us today. We look forward to becoming your first choice for Chinese food delivery in Calgary.

I really enjoy the ginger beef here. I also like the almond dai ging. It's not fancy, just good food. However, sometimes it can be inconsistent. The ginger beef is sometimes crispy and sometimes soft.

I haven’t ordered from here in over a year because of how bad the food was. Tried it again… big mistake … nothings changed

I have been going to ginger beef for over 30 since it was beside consumer distributors. The food here has definitely changed in the last few months and nolonger is what I remember. Bland, overcooked and lacking in the freshness of ingredients. I won't be returning after a man came from the back very angry and confrontational with a customer that was waiting to order. Thats the last time I will go there and after their other location was shut down for a bit by health services I think it's best to move on.

Have ordered here a lot over the years & the food has always been great. Recently something has changed, new chefs, owners ? The food has gone downhill. Ginger beef was always my favorite but the past few times have had no meat or sauce. Same with the sweet & sour Pineapple, no sauce. The dry garlic ribs, no meat & were tasteless. Very disappointed ?

We ordered a dinner for 4. When the food arrived we did not get all our food. I called 3x to let them know and were willing to charge us an additional $30+ to fill the order. The dinner for 4 was supposed to be $89.95 however they wanted charge us the extra and were absolutely rude about it. Apparently a dinner for 4 is now $120+ don't order from here...they are a rip off. We went to another chinese restaurant to get rice. We will not be ordering from here again...one person I spoke with made it seem he would "ruin" our food even if they would deliver.

I don't know what to say.....ordered, took home and opened the food and wow....it look like they gave me the bad part of the food section. Poorly cooked and prepped. Meat all dried up. Tasteless. Fried rice was decent. Wonton was ok. The main dishes was not. Do not go here unless you don't mind getting ripped off. There are better restaurants to go to. Very disappointed.

Brentwood Location. Ordered food through skip the dishes. Was too fast delivered I guess. Chicken Chow Mein was raw chicken and rubbery. Ginger Beef was small, rubbery, sauce too sweet and not crunchy or tasty at all. The vegetables had to he searched for in the dishes with a magnifying glass and since undercooked we had to fry up the food to prevent to eat raw chicken. The fortune cookie rightfully told me: "Have patience you will find better places!" Couldn't be more true never ever will I order from this location again! Was in the old days a nice family run business with good quality now the portions are small and the quality is questionable.
