The Center Philosophy ....
Dr. For Moms Perinatal and Pediatric Natural Health Center was created with the intent to support women in the way that women should be supported from preconception through life with baby. It is founded on the true intent behind the statement "It takes a village to raise a child". The center, the practitioners and our community network make up that 'village'. This is a mission driven, mindful and purposeful center, empowering and supporting women in our city and far beyond.
Our multidisciplinary center is located in Calgary, Alberta and serves the Calgary and surrounding communities with chiropractic, massage, naturopathic medicine, pelvic health physical therapy, homeopathy, acupuncture, kinesiology based fitness and personal training, lactation support, weight loss programs, ART (active release technique) and complimentary childminding. Each practitioner at our center brings experience and expertise to her practice. You can count on genuine, individualized care with each of our practitioners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give zero stars, I would. I never take time to write reviews but I wanted to write this one to help other moms to not waist your time and money in this place.
I have gone here to see Dr. Hort to treat my 4 months old right torticollis, which they advertise they treat.
First appointment was “assessment and adjustment” which lasted just under 30 minutes (which supposedly should be 60 minutes) and I was told that my child didn’t have torticollis. For the “adjustment” part, Dr. Hort literally held her for like 5 minutes (and I am being generous here) massaging the neck and that was that. $145 later I was left with a specific hold to correct the tilt of the head, which I was already doing just by searching online.
Hopeful that next appointment there would be stretches or exercises recommended, I go in for the next appointment, which apparently lasts 15 minutes. At this point my child’s head is leaning towards the left side than the right. Dr. Hort once again massaged the affected area of the neck for 5 minutes (again, generous) and just told me to hold her the same way as before but on the left side now. $55 later I was left with no solid resolutions or treatment.
Thinking I would give this place another chance, I go in for my third and last appointment, which was the same as the second, with no solutions, stretches or exercises. At this point, my baby still has a right leaning head and no improvements in sight.
As a wrap up, dear moms with babies that suffer from torticollis, Dr. For Moms is a complete waist of your time and money. You can find physical therapists that post stretches and exercises even on YouTube that help tremendously with torticollis. Dr. For Moms does not provide with any ground breaking treatment for torticollis that you can’t find online.
UPDATE: my little one is all good now, thanks to Calgary Youth Physiotherapy! They are the best! Plus covered by Alberta Health Care for 7 visits before 1 year old! Hope this helps other moms with the same issue! All the best!

She was highly recommended by a friend and let’s just say I found the one. I highly recommend her service. It was by far the most relaxing and therapeutic massage I’ve event had. Thank you megan!

Dr. Hort is amazing and I attest her magic hands to curing my baby's torticolis. I wish I had taken a before and after picture because within just a few short months he went from having one ear looking much smaller than the other, severe torticolis to a nearly perfect shaped head with only chiro and some physio.
Megan and Chelsea are AMAZING massage therapists as well. I have brought my severely ADHD kiddo to Chelsea and she is great with him he is continuously asking to go back. I have seen Megan many times over the past years and she has always been such a joyful presence. She is bubbly and I love how easily conversation flows as she is using her magic hands to heal my aches and pains (she is also fine if you just want to faceplant and sleep haha). I have also recently booked appointments with Chelsea and she is awesome by personal experience as well. Can not recommend either of these therapists enough.
Reception is always kind and easy going as well. Some places I've been to reception has not been so welcoming... but these ladies are awesome! Easy to chat with, I could sit there all day just visiting about current events. They are so good with kids as well, I had to bring my 5 boys to an appointment once and they took all our shenanigans in a stride and even let us book another appointment (haha!)
Just overall a joy going here.

I love how everything is explained in great detail, step by step and in terms I can understand. The team are amazing and even looked after my daughter so that I could focus on looking after myself, they are always excited to see us and make us feel special. We really do love coming here and would recommend Dr for Mom’s to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completely blown away! Dr. Hort was beyond amazing with my 2 month old daughter. She was so loving and gentle and explained everything to me as she went. The energy in the clinic is like no other. I also brought my 2 year old son with me to our appointment and the incredible gal at the front desk played with him in the play area the whole time. He didn’t even want to leave when we were done. I cannot recommend this clinic more.
