Welcome to Total Care Traditional Chinese Medicine Center. The goal of this website is to educate patients and spread the ideas of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) so that patients can learn more about how to take care of their own health and reap the benefit of Chinese culture. Education is even more important than any treatment provided because prevention is the key to ensuring patients can manage their own health over the long-term.
The Meaning of Our Logo:
The yin-yang symbol represents the taoist link to TCM and its connection to all forms of nature and life.
The two leaves represent the herbs used in TCM and the stem represents acupuncture. Together they form a Y, which has 5 meanings: Yin, Yang, Yi4 (as in the Yi Jing or the Book of Changes), Yi1 (one as in unity), and Yi1 (medicine).
is the abbreviation of the clinic name.
If you have tried TCM in the past and did not get relief, do not give up on TCM entirely. Some practitioners have more experience treating certain conditions than others. Just like any other type of practitioner, you must continue to look for someone with the experience and skill to treat your condition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a sudden blurry vision on one of my eyes. I went to the Rocky View emergency and also got referred to see a retina specialist in a Eye Centre. They performed OCT scan on my eyes and have not found anything wrong. They concluded it may be an age related myopia degeneration, and there might be little bleeding on the back of my eyes but the scan machine was not able to detect it. The doctor treated me with injections into my eyeball but it wasn't really help much to improve. Then a friend referred my to see Dr. Han to try with this hard case. I visited him twice a week for two months for a total of 16 treatments. My visions got improved every time and so far I have recovered with approximate 90% of the lost vision. I will continue visit him until fully cured. Thanks for much Dr. Han for your professional skills and the magic needles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Han is an Excellent traditional Chinese medical doctor. Very kind and warm-hearted with welcoming sweet smiles on his face all the time.
I used to have sciatica in 2018, and pain tortured me day and night and I couldn’t sleep all day and all night. I went to FMC and just got some pain medications with quite a bit of side effects and only helped transiently. I went to Dr Han’s office and his skillful treatment saved my life and cured my sciatica. It hasn’t bothered me since then.
At the end of last year(2021), I had nerve stretching pain on my left arm and it bothered me from time to time. Again Dr Han showed his great skills and treated and resolved my problems.
A few days ago I stretched my great hip muscles and couldn’t stay comfortable on any position because of severe pain. I went to Dr Han’s office and had two treatments of acupuncture and it is already feeling pretty well and only a little leftover pain now.
I appreciate Dr Han and his wife Wendy very much. They are so great with high level of medical skills and good personality and very encouraging on interactions. They are very reliable and trustable. They are always supportable and trustworthy. I highly recommend Dr Han if you have problems on your joints, muscles or nerves that caused pain or discomfort. They are capable of resolving your suffer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Han is great. He helped me during my pregnancy. I had bleeding in my 1st trimester. I went to ER and found the bleeding around one side of the placenta. The ER doctor and my OB told me there was nothing they could do at that time and I had to wait and hopefully it would resolve itself. I was so scared. Luckly I had Dr. Han. I took the medication he prescribed. The bleeding was slowed at the next day and completely stopped after 2 weeks. He saved my baby. I kept taking the medication throughout my pregnancy. I did not have any issue after that and I feel pretty comfortable during the whole term. Now my baby is almost 8 months.
Dr. Han always puts patient first and is willing to help. He listens to my issues and makes me feel comfortable to ask questions. I highly recommend him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a Hemorrhagic Stroke in April 2019. Recovery has been slow. In July 2021, I was introduced to Dr. Han and we have spent 10 months getting my righ arm and leg getting progressively better. I have a lot more use of my right arm than I had. My right leg and foot although is much better. He has also dropped my headaches by more than half. This has been an exceptional experience. I believe that my improvement has accelerated by working with Dr. Han. They are awesome!!
