Very easy and straightforward hike. About 40 mins (2.5 km ) one away from Gold Creek parking to the Lower Falls. Some stopovers on the way with places to soak your feet. Hardly any elevation.

If I could give this trail 10 stars I would! I know the fact that we went on a beautiful day also contributes to the wow factor but I cannot wait to be back on this trail and by this body of water. Absolutely stunning, quiet and relaxing. Will be great for paddle boarding and I even saw 2 boats. If you are looking to tuck yourself away somewhere peaceful to read a good book this is the location you are looking for. I’m curious to know what it will be like on the weekends, my guess it that it will pull a lot of crowd since the view is totally breathtaking. I’ll be sure to put up an update when next I go but if you are looking for somewhere really nice and quiet to walk with your dog (leash required) or friend or both during the week this is the place you are looking for!

Beautiful easy flat trail through a gorgeous forest to a beautiful river and big waterfall! Awesome mountain views throughout as well. Hike took about half an hour to the falls including some small stops for photos

This place is magic! Hike wasn’t tough, it took about 2.5km from the parking lot to the creek. Water is so clear and clean. I highly recommend visiting during the summer. Get a picnic together and come down with the family, but remember to pick up after yourself. This cool water was very much welcomed on a hot summer day (28-30°C). Remember to book a day use pass, and download it to your phone or take a screenshot of it as there’s no cell service there.

One of our favorite hikes. Parking usually is not a problem, though it does get busy sometimes. Stroller friendly walk. With minimal elevation. Each way is about 2.5 km with a nice spot to stop next to the river right in the middle of it, it is a stretch of pebble beach with a beautiful view of the mountains. Did it multiple times with my 2 and 4 year olds. Usually it takes 2 to 3 hours to do the whole thing. Can be definitely done much faster without kids. Waterfall at the end of the walk is pretty nice too. Good spot to take some photos.

?Lower Gold Creek Falls Trail at Golden Ears Provincial Park ? __________________________________ ? Difficulty- Easy ⏳Time- 2 hours ??‍♀️Round Trip- 5.5 km ?️Elevation Gain- Minimal ⛅Season- Year round ?️Camping- No ?From Vancouver- 1 hour 30 mins ?Public Transit- No ?Dog friendly- Yes __________________________________ This is a magnificent trail with basically two views of the waterfall- right from the front and the top view. It is recognised for being more of a beautiful easy walk in the woods, suitable for all age groups. The gold creek, more like a beach surrounded with mountains runs parallel throughout the trail. Do not miss out on the top view of the falls! TRAIL NOTICE: A BC Parks Day-Use Pass is required to hike the Gold Creek Falls Trail. Very easy stroll to the falls from the parking lots. Although don’t except too much from the falls itself, they aren’t tall. I personally really enjoyed the green water of the river. We ate on north beach as well, so you can do this little hike and head for beach after.

What a beautiful and serene place to relax and unwind your mind. If you are looking for a little adventure I will recommend starting the trail from east canyon trailhead and then complete a loop. Crowd is less in this route, numerous little waterfalls and streams on the way and there is a steep drop from the trail to the waterfalls at the end which is fun! The Mt. Nutt view was amazing. Loved this place and would definitely come back in sure to take a dip in the water.
