This hike was absolutely unreal! You get a nice mix of flat and elevation, some tricky paths that get a bit narrow and muddy but overall it is a very pleasant hike. There are some pretty beautiful view points that even with the rain and fog made the entire trip enjoyable. The waterfalls are a must see as is the viewpoint with the view of the mountain peaks (I didn’t see them due to the bad weather but it still made for a stunning experience). There is lots of drinking water on the first part of the trail. The trees are unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Highly recommend!

I love this provincial park so much! It’s fairly close from Langley, and just has so much to offer including waterfalls, trails, overnight hikes, lakes, camping, and more! If your ever in the area, check it out!

An absolute rainforest, too large to be explored in a day so its great you can camp there. I did years ago, there is no reception in parts of the park. Nice streams for getting the feet wet though.

We've been to this camping site several times since last summer. So spectacular indeed for me.. hehehe.. beautiful scenery, clean and love the fresh air so this is our favorite camping site to visit so far that not too far from our place. This time we just went for a day

Huge provincial park with lots of trails, parking spaces, and camp sites. I went in mid February and although it was still a bit chilly, there were already some people out camping. The views are spectacular. Public washrooms are available as well as benches, picnic tables, and bear proof trash cans. It is a must visit place in the summer for those who love nature.

We have been trying short walks with our dog. In Golden ears we have tried the Gold Creek Falls trail which is extremely accessible stroller not a problem. Our most recent was the trail around Mike Lake. On this trip it was after an entire day of steady rain. Clean clear water was flowing every where. There was one spot where the water accumulated and the paths available were limited and mostly swamped. Humans did OK. Dog required a bath. Of the 2 the Gold Creek trail was the most beautiful landscape and the Mike Lake the most like real hiking.

One of the better parks around, some of the best trails/hikes around. Ample parking for all your friends and then some. Trail runners and walkers enjoy the multitude of trails all around. Ideal weather is a dry 20+ degree day, but even on a 7 degree late winter day was nice, especially with all the picnic tables available. Boat/kayak rentals in the summer also make it a nice day out

Golden Ears is one of the largest parks in BC spanning more than 150K acres and hosts a large number of hiking, cycling and horse riding trails. Each trail offers unique and beautiful sights of snow-capped mountains, lake, waterfalls, stream of snow melt water, lush green vegetation and beaches. There are camping sites available here but you need to reserve them well in advance as they are very popular. The parking here is also quite limited and if you want to park near the entrance of trails, you need to get here early in the morning. As the day progresses, you may need to park by the roadside. Do note that there is no phone reception here. So, plan your visit accordingly and download offline maps before heading to this park. That said, there's probably no better place near Vancouver to disconnect from everyday life and enjoy the bounty of natural beauty this park offers.
