Right now there is no boat rental or washroom use. It will be much better when this services come back. I think it will be really fun to kayak in Pitt River. Walking along the dyke is nice too.

Beautiful park, is great for walking and relaxing - quite peaceful. There are a few picnic tables and benches for people to sit by the parking lot. Trails are wide, didnt feel crowded. Parking lot can get busy but there are lots are parking spaces along the road. We saw lots of people in their canoes and boats travelling through the river/ lake. Only downside: no public washrooms.

A wonderful place for a walk, bike ride, run—anything to be immersed between mountains and water. Still beautiful even in the wetter weather.

This place is far out, but absolutely worth the drive. Beautiful view, beautiful everything. The lake is crystal clear and the mountains are as good as they look in pictures. Despite being listed as a road, the trail between the lakes is a pedestrian trail. The park closes at dusk, but you can probably get away with staying there later.

This is a totally underrated place. Has some amazing views both from the lake and from the widgeon creek. Very sad that there are not much facilities for visitors. There is not even a single washroom here. The decks are old and have gotten weak already. It gets very crowded on a nice sunny day and very hard to find parking.

Very nice views of the lake and mountains with marshlands around. The Douro I dings look very surreal with houses emerging from inside the trees. The walk on the dyke is nice and flat but make sure you have good shoes, sunscreen, and a lot of patience, as it is long with no shade. There are benches probably every quarter mile so that helps! Can also go for a family picnic as there are park benches by the parking lot.

Great spot not too far from the city for walking, boating, sightseeing. Lots of wildlife and natural sights to check out. If you bring a canoe or kayak there lots of day paddles that can be done. There is boat launch and dock so is easy to set off. Weather can be a bit dicey at times most notable the wind so check ahead. Used to need to pay for parking but since the pandemic has been free for overnight.

Beautiful, picturesque park with views of the mountains and the lakes. Plenty of parking available as well as gravel trails. It is an exposed area so it can get windy and cold, so dress warmly for the weather. There are benches at the start and you could bring a snack and enjoy the views. Boat launch available for those who want to kayak or canoe in the clear waters.
