★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our 4th time there! Excellent food, clean, tasteful, simple. Beautiful variety of art and colors and furniture inside. I usually have the meat-vegetarian option. Injera (type of bread) is a blessing. Service is fast and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing! Food tasted incredible, both meat dishes, and vegetarian. The bread is also flavourful but doesn’t over power the mains.
But the server guy is the the greatest part. His attitude and friendliness won the heart of my wife and I. We want to be friends with him forever. It was already a 5 star but he makes it a 20 star.

The meal has really interesting taste for me.
The restaurant was hand eating style.
So, if you mind you should bring your cutlery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying Ethiopian food ever! Great experience. We visited with a group of 8 with a reservation. We were served with kindness and they were very helpful as we navigated our way thru the menu. I ended up ordering Chicken Awaze Tibs and Gomen Be Siga (beef). Food was hot and fresh. It was cool that the food was served in a traditional platter style and dishes pour onto the injera. Loved the experience and flavours! Would try other dishes in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Atkilt is phenomenal! I remember visiting Vancouver 3 years ago and had a great time catching up with old friends over a veggie platter here at Gojo cafe and revisiting it again the other day, the family-based service is what keeps us coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying Ethiopian food, it was very pleasant. Owner was friendly and were helpful in exploring tbe menu. There are no utensils and you are expected to eat with your hands.
Meats were flavorful and veggies were too. It was a nice segway into unfamiliar dishes.
