Ok, confession time! The main reason I still go there is the deep fried pork intestines which I only dare eat twice a year maximum; and definitely not with too much company - as I do get embarrassed when admonished for ordering/eating such dirty cholesterol laden, poor man food. Just my better half with me so....!! Other items on the menu are just β€œok,” nothing to write home about, except that they ARE cheap; definitely not gourmet dining and not even anything special- but what can you expect on Kingsway, LOL

My last visit was ok. Unfortunately, the chicken fried rice was gross. I asked my daughter if it tasted ok. I think she didn't want to be rude and said it was ok. The dish stunk something awful. I should have just went with my gut feeling and sent the dish back. I doubt that I will return to this restaurant. I went there because my brother wanted to go there. All I wanted was wonton soup. The chicken chow mein my brother ordered was bland. A disappointing meal that costed $80. I love my daughter and brother so this is why I returned to this restaurant, but I will insist, we will never eat at this location again.

The food is excellent! But the staff that we knew for over 15 years was not working when we went the last time. The guy who served us was not customer oriented. Doest look at you when taking the order and when he serve the hot tea it dripped to my husbands leg and didn't even say sorry. His reply was its only a little! Just not a pleasant person to be serving in a restaurant. We love the lady staff serving there for 30 years!

We found this restaurant on a quick Google search of places near us. We wanted to eat in, not take out. The food in the photos already posted looked good, and I always take opinions with a grain of salt, so we gave it a try. We weren't disappointed. The food was served hot and fast. Portions were generous. We ordered a dinner for 4, deep fried wontons, and a house special chow mein. Dinner for 4 included wonton soup, 4 egg rolls, house special fried rice, beef & greens, sweet & sour pork and honey garlic spareribs. The food in general was good, so I'll say what I didn't like. The sweet & sour pork was mostly onions, peppers & sauce. Not a lot of pork. The house special chow mein ... There was a meat in it that was unpleasant, otherwise the rest of the dish was okay. Would I order it again, probably not, I'd just order plain. The egg rolls were very greasy. What I really liked: the greens. Lots of veggies, lots of Bok Choy. Well cooked too, not mushy or too firm. We will eat here again if we are in the neighborhood.

Great quality for the cost, I always get the bbq duck wonton soup with noodles. The portion is large and I have a hard time finishing in one sitting and end up taking for a snack for later. Super yummy, the restaurant atmosphere is older and feels like a diner, I think take out is popular.

I ordered take out last night. It took over 90mins for it to arrive. Food was warm not hot and I live 5mins away. Really disappointed it took so long but calling them they were prompt in giving me an update as to where the driver was. So I was hoping the food would be worth the wait. Good portions and great for the price point but the quality isn’t quite there. Food is bland. So great place if you want a lot of food for cheap but if you want quality order somewhere else.

This place has really gone downhill. My previous entry was 5 stars. Now i will downgrade this to 1 star. The house special chow mein I ordered had no fresh ingredients in there. To make things worse, they put liver in there and the liver was not full cooked (slightly red). This was 100% confirmed liver not not cha siu. Occasionally the beef chow fun i ordered in the past had rancid, semi-spoiled meat in our dish. Will never come here again.

Good won ton restaurant with very reasonable prices. A local family business that we are happy to support. The large won ton soup for $19.99 had 32 *huge* won tons (see photo)! Awesome! Definitely a soup for someone who wants to eat a lot at a good price and fill you up. The medium won ton soup at $10.99 is huge in itself for dinner. Pan fried dumplings and su mai are delicious. Adding hot sauce makes everything ever the more yummy! We have yet to try more menu items, but will return for sure when near Kingsway. Good place to take friends.
