★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been to several physiotherapy clinics. Global Physiotherapy is the first one that assessed me head to toe to get to the root of my pain. I worked with several physiotherapists along the way and they were all fantastic at taking the time needed to gather information before each treatment session. They gave me options on treatments and took my feedback on the results from my previous session. Each physiotherapist was highly trained and had years of experience. My journey to healing my back has taken a couple of years, and they did not give up on me! I feel like I now have the tools to move forward. I highly recommend this clinic to my friends and colleagues.

Not only did they provide me with relief from my pain, which I have suffered with for far too long, but took the time to explain how it came about, where it started from and what I could do to prevent it from coming back. They are professional, respectful and genuinely care about their patients. I was shown and taught exercises at my appointment plus emailed instruction videos of same exercises which helped me tremendously! My quality of life is so much better since I started going to Global Physiotherapy. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Global Physio for TMJ 'locking', I couldn't open my mouth very wide and eating was extremely difficult and painful. Cindy was great, I worked with her for months to strengthen the muscles in my jaw so that I could eat without pain and improve how far I could open my jaw. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating as my initial visit was made as a bit of an emergency. I also was experiencing sciatica at the time and she helped me with that as well. I would highly recommend this clinic and their services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here after I was in a car accident. Saw Lisa for 16 sessions, who was phenomenal and extremely focused on ensuring that I got back to 100% as quickly as possible. Came here a few months later to deal with a recurring wrist injury. Extremely professional and flexible for working around my work schedule, and even direct bill my private health insurance! Would instantly recommend them to anyone looking for a physiotherapist... I will definitely be returning if I ever need physio in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw Yvonne at Global Physio for 7 appts for neck pain and severe pain in my left thigh and leg.
She was great, very thorough and helpful.
I liked the fact she was with me the whole appt so I got all of her undivided attention.
She also sent me my exercises with a small video so I can remind myself how to do the moves
Prices were very competitive.
I highly recommend this business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After much frustration with typical physio centers I discovered global physiotherapy. I've just begun work with Leasa. I'm very impressed with her professionalism and with the treatments I've received so far. I can't believe I'm actually working with a physiotherapist who does manipulation and treatment for a full half hour. Prior to this I have spent time with physiotherapists who focus on the use of tens machines and spend less than 5 minutes with you. Leasa did a thorough analysis and plan. I look forward to getting full movement back in my arm because of the work she has initiated. Absolutely wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ January 2021 I was diagnosed with mild moderate arthritis in my right knee as well as mild arthritis in my left. I struggled along for a few months before I finally threw in the towel and went back to see Cindy at GlobalPhysiotherapy. Cindy had successfully worked on my frozen shoulder 5 years before so I knew I was in pretty good hands. Using a combination of taping techniques, light therapy and strengthening exercises, I got to a point where I could ride my stationary bike once again. It’s been about 4 weeks since my last visit and I’m virtually pain free! It’s an absolute treat to get out of bed in the morning and not be greeted by stabbing pain in my knees. My knees are much stronger and as long as I keep riding my bike, I’m able to walk and ride without pain!
My husband has also been working with Cindy to relieve shoulder pain. His experience included exercise as well as shock wave therapy that accelerated his healing time. After about 6 weeks of physio with Cindy, he was ready for spring time golf games!
I highly recommend Global Physio. They’ve been there for us over the years!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been treated at Global Physiotherapy in Sherwood Park for a few injuries over the past few years and have appreciated the thorough evaluation and successful treatments I have received. I am currently receiving treatment for a bad motorcycle accident that resulted in several injuries. Cindy and Charlotte are teaming together; using their 25 plus years of expertise to help me recover from a concussion, shoulder surgery, neck and upper back injuries. I appreciate the up-to-date treatments they offer and the improved strength, recovered nerve function and increased motion I now have. The reception staff are awesome. They offer a new medical mask to me for each appointment and I appreciate how clean and organized the clinic always is. I have already improved significantly and I look forward to enjoying my spring and summer activities this year.
