Global Aware Care Summerside Early Learning Centre - Edmonton

I went there with my 2.5 year old son! at the first day in the transition time, he supposed to spend only a few hours and I was told i can stay with him for max 15 minutes! which was nice! these are the problems we faced at the very first day: 1. when I walked my son to the room the teachers didn’t great him at all! I showed him around and try to engage him with some kids and toys! 2. after only two minutes, the principal asked me to sneak out!!!! this is the worst thing that a parent can do for obvious reasons! i said goodbye and left and continued watching him in the lobby monitor! 3. my son was left by himself, teachers were busy cleaning up! at the first day, no one was paying attention to my kid who didn’t know English, and didn’t know anyone! it’s intimidating even for adults! he got himself busy for 35 minutes, then started crying out loud! 4. one teacher tried to calm him down (not immediately) but couldn’t, he kept crying and this took maybe two minutes! then the worst part happened! the principal grabbed my kid and brought him to me so anxiously, saying what should we do? we can refund your money!!!!! i was like, what??? what did my son do?? didn’t you expect him to cry?!!! I told her I expected an extra attention at the first day or two! she replied we are a group care provider, we cannot do that! I said I don’t expect one teacher for my kid all day, but at least have him engaged with a toy then leave him or something like this!! hmm, NO! 4. I was watching, when they wanted to take pictures of the children to send to their parents, they got the kids so excited for just one minute, pretending they are doing a group play and dancing together, so they can take some pictures, then they were left for a free play again!!! 5. I asked the principal if they have any group activities, she said what they had in the morning, which I was watching, was a group activity, but they just threw some toys on the table, and whoever liked could go and play with toys, no instructions from teachers or any specific activity!!

We visited many daycares and chose Global Aware. Our child has been at There since Jan. 2021 and it’s honestly been an amazing experience. He truly enjoys going and he has developed so much. Staff are extremely friendly and truly seem to care about our child. Global Aware has been so proactive in all Covid measures, they have put us at ease in these stressful times. I 100% recommend Global Aware to all my friends and family. Thank you, you guys are great!

We started a few months ago with Global Aware and we have been blown away by them since day 1. Every staff we have interacted with is upbeat, kind and so caring. You can tell this center is run impeccably well, the director is amazing, the communication is wonderful and open and the facility itself is well maintained and clean. They have comfortable Covid policies as well. We love their focus on outdoor play and they keep the kids so busy with many different kinds of activities and experiences. Highly recommend.

My 2.5 years old loves this daycare and wants to come here everyday. It takes some time to get use to the environment at first but the educators and principal are really patient and caring. The programs are great and my kid is having fun everyday. Really appreciated!

So in love with everything about Global Aware. My daughter has attended since December 2020 and has flourished socially and academically since. The amount of love and care put into each child from management and the staff members is incredible and hands down the best care you can have for your children. The facility is clean, great educational programs, communication is open, and even the food provided is delicious. I highly recommend Global Aware to any parent looking for high quality care for their children.

My 2.5 years old daughter has been attending Global Aware care for almost 5 months. I gave this daycare 5 stars not only for the amazing staff, the cleanliness, but the learning these kids get on a day to day basis, is one you can truly appreciate, as a parent. I appreciate the details they present on the himama app and I'm always updated in what my child is learning that day- From special projects (scavenger hunts, physical and mental health activities), to gross motor play, music, cognitive and math, just to name a few. On an emotional basis, my daughter has definitely been more expressive with her feelings, shares her day with us when she comes home and is definitely more confident than when she started. They provide healthy food options, food kids actually enjoy eating. My daughter has a wonderful relationship with her educators (Ms Cris and Ms Rose) and directors (Ms. Alma and Ms Wenny). She cant wait to greet them at the door. They are so nurturing, attentive and kind. I honesty couldn't hope for a better daycare for my child to go to everyday. And I am looking forward to when her younger sister starts in the summer. I highly recommend this daycare! Thank you Global aware care, for everything you do for our children!

Global Aware is the best child care in the city and we are so lucky that my daughter has a chance to spend a year with them. The management is very effective and their educators care about all kids. They prepare guidelines and materials to provide various of activities to the kids. We can see pictures and daily learning outlines even the food menu from the App they are using. My daughter enjoys everyday with them !

My family and I can not say enough good things about this daycare centre! We are so happy that we have chosen Global Aware as a home away from home for our daughter. She loves her teachers and she comes home every day happy, safe and excited to return. What we love most is the amazing organization of the team, the high quality learning that occurs each day, the effective and regular communication, the bright clean learning spaces and the healthy meal options. As an educator myself, I couldn't be more pleased with Global Aware. Thank you to the entire team for their hard work and dedication.
