March 2, 2022 Update to March 22, 2021 Review Hi everyone, As you will see in my earlier review below, about 11 months ago I had a timing belt replaced (a job I knew was due) by Glenmeadows and was quite happy with the service. Right I started the engine, it sounded and felt different from its usual smooth Honda purr and my daughter noticed it right away as well. I asked one of the mechanics about it and they said they use high quality products. So I dropped it. Fast forward to last week, I recently had an experience with Kevin, the owner of Glenmeadows Auto after I had my Honda towed to his repair shop when my engine failed suddenly out of the blue. After hearing that the replacement of a new engine was beyond the Honda’s worth, I asked Kevin about options. He led me to believe that the car was completely worthless and that the only option was to tow it to the wreckers. He then offered to take it off my hands and would not charge me for the diagnostic testing. That just didn’t feel right, so I tabled it for a bit. I decided to go used car shopping at Honda West (where I originally bought my Accord) and checked in about the value of it. Honda offered me a $2000.00 trade in value. So I settled the diagnostic fee with Kevin and arranged to have the car towed to Honda. I also felt the urge to take photos of the car’s condition before I left Glenmeadows Auto, as it would be a couple of hours before AMA could get there. Here’s where it gets super interesting…when the tow truck agent called to confirm that my car was safely towed to Honda West, I checked in with him to ask if the car looked relatively undamaged and he asked why. After I shared all of the above, along with how odd it seemed that a well maintained 2009 Honda Accord with less than 90,000 kms would suddenly just die like that…the tow truck agent said ‘Believe it or not’ - he used to work there two years ago when Scott was the owner and things did not change when Kevin took ownership. He literally said that he had heard of workers buying cars off of customers for extremely low costs several times and resigned because he did not want to be associated with any of that. He also agreed that it seems extremely odd that my engine would fail based on the info I gave him and he also said he was not surprised. Unfortunately, there is no way to verify any type of sabotage to my engine. I want you all to please know that I am definitely not out to get anyone, but I feel quite strongly about sharing my experience so that you can make your own call about using this company’s service. Part of me definitely would have preferred that I listened to my intuition right away, and yet I also feel better knowing that others may benefit from this story - by being careful about who you allow to service your vehicle…and also to always follow your first gut feel! March 22, 2021 Kevin the owner and his staff are setting a new standard for thorough and reliable auto service! Knowledgeable, friendly and kind, these professionals mean every word on their sign that exceeding expectations IS their expectation!! I loved how I could book a loaner vehicle for an oil change. Even further, Kevin offered to pay for a cab to get my kids to two different schools when my overdue timing belt needed to be replaced and the loaner vehicle was already booked out for the following day! Now that is going above and beyond, thank you Kevin and staff for being so wonderful!! Grace Weicker

I've been going to Glen Meadows for years. They're really a great bunch of professionals and I always appreciate their work. Most recently, I needed a repair and there were no replacement parts owing to the age of the vehicle. They persisted and finally in 3 days time they found the part at a salvage yard. No pun intended but they go the extra mile! Thanks guys!

I get a tune up there every year and they Even have a clean loaner car, which I loved. I cannot say enough about this business. I started going there 4 years ago . You can’t go wrong!

The new owner, Kevin, and his team are incredible. They seem to be authentically interested in things going well for me. I used to have my vehicles serviced by Toyota but always felt like I was being abused. As a business owner myself I appreciate seeing companies operate in an upright manner.

If your looking for customer service, then this place is not it. Better off taking your vehicle ells where. During these high inflation times I simply asked the shop owner how much they charge per hour for a break job, then he turns on his rude attitude and tells me "it sounds like you have called bunch of places getting quotes, what is it that you need". I just told you what I need..This place has no customer service skills. Bad customer service translates to poor/shoddy workmanship.

The guys at Glen Meadows were great. Noel called me a few times while the work was going on to update me on the progress. They helped me out with some repairs that needed to be done. I'll definitely be back when I need further repairs or servicing!

Last week my alternator failed on the road. After procrastinating for a couple days, I called Glen Meadows auto to see if they could fit me in: they said I could have it towed there any time, including after hours as they have a drop box for keys. I ended up getting it there the next day, where they were ready for it and got to work right away. I called one day, and the next day, they had my alternator changed, battery changed, and idle trained in 3 hours... 3 Hours! From the time they called me to give me the diagnosis and authorize the service to the time the had it ready for pick up was literally 3 and a half hours: I was so impressed and so relieved to have my car back and running in time for the weekend! Super fast, professional and friendly service, and great phone manners too which I really appreciate when dealing with the automotive industry: sometimes phone manners are lacking which can just be unpleasant as a customer. Thank you Glen Meadows for getting me back on the road so quickly!

I recently had to bring both of our vehicles in to Glen Meadows Auto. Both times I have been blown away with the communication, efficiency and professionalism of all the staff! The most recent time we had to tow our vehicle in (at 330 pm) knowing full well our appt was not until the next day, however received a call an hour later with what they had found and the vehicle was ready the next day! They take pride in their work. I would (and DO!) highly recommend Glen Meadows to anyone who needs work done on their vehicles! I should also mention, that when we brought our vehicle in it was due to a problem that arose from an oil change at a different shop. The techs helped document everything very thoroughly. Their expertise is helping us bring forward the issues to the other shop. Glen Meadows has gained a new regular for sure!
