★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot! Love the decor and the food is awesome. The kitchen utensils hanging on the walls are so cool. Caesar salad was great and poke bowl was really fresh. We met the owner, he was really nice and funny. He sent us over a grilled octopus which was very tasty and well cooked. Great experience all around!

Went for brunch and everything was excellent - tasty food, good servings, reasonably priced, bottomless coffee with plenty of refills and great service. If you go for brunch make sure and try their spicy Caesar too (see the photo) - will definitely be frequenting this place more. Can be quite quiet but I'm sure it will take off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toronto must have a couple of thousand bistro restaurants. Most do not meet the standard of the Glass Onion. Aside from the exceedingly cool name, the food was excellent (and reasonably priced), the staff personable and attentive, and the space bright and comfortable. Loved the small touches like the the light fixtures and the Sonos sound system (plus the enjoyable music mix). Looking forward to returning in warmer weather to check out the patio. Highly recommended.
