Gillies Grove Animal Hospital

This Pet Hospital is just amazing! Dr. Scott is by far the most companioned, loving and professional doctor we had in years! Their fees are extremely better than any other vet in Ottawa plus they offer method of payments interest free! Friendly and helpful staff!

I started bringing my furbaby there about a year ago as I was unhappy with my previous veterinarian. I wish I had transferred him so much sooner! I have a terrier mix named Bandit, 4 years old and he's my baby. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. They are honest and really do care. Bandit was very sick about a month ago and thanks to everyone at Gillies Grove he is alive and back to normal. I highly recommend this Animal Hospital, your furbabies will be in good hands.

I have had very positive experiences with Gillies Grove. The staff are courteous and responsive and the vets that I have seen are very good. Dr. Scott (Janice) is by far my favourite. I have complete confidence in her and would not hesitate to recommend her. She has provided outstanding care for our whippet who is well into her senior years.

My cat got badly hurt, he had a gash from the back of the ear to the throat. Thought I might lose him, but the vet took amazing care of him and now you can't even tell he was ever hurt. Great ppl and great vets. Definitely would recommend. Rambo will definitely stay under their care. Thank you

I have recently moved into Arnprior and I am very pleased with the services my dog has received with Gilles Grove Animal Hospital. Dr. Glofcheskie is excellent, caring, thorough and explains things very well. All staff I have met have been cheerful and efficient. In addition I feel that the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

I am a seasoned dog owner, trainer, and rehabilitator. My dog is my LIFE ! SOUL. HEART. Not only am I picky about my vets I have an APBT. This vet has done nothing but go above and beyond, always having her staff give helpful tips and ease the minds of panicked fur-parents. She has only given my dog the best care. She has now treated my senior for many common issues, cysts, eye checks, bacterial skin infections from terrain etc. I highly recommend. This clinic also did dental work for our two chis which was done phenomenonally. I'm a very harsh vet critic because I clearly want the best of the best, not just quality but care wise. It is so important to have a vet that puts in as much time and compassion as this one, I wish everyone at this clinic many blessings. I understand this job is not just cute animals, it's also the hard decisions and emergencies. I make an hour drive and wouldn't have it any other way ! Now for pitbull owners. I spoke to a female Sgt. OPP officer who told me ; if your dog is NOT registered to Ontario and is only there to receive treatment AT the clinic for 24 hours (or emergencies) she told me my dog would not be SIEZED if she was seeking vet care in Ontario and did not stay over night . In saying this ; do not trust all vets with your apbt. Or bullies. Ever. Make sure you question them and gage their reactions towards your bully because you need to protect them. Some vets will report you and hand your dog's over to authorities which they have the technical right to do - THAT IS WHERE YOU FIND TROUBLE because your dog is now in provincial custody as an illegal asset. I cannot describe how beyond blown away I am by this place and the staff. Today we had to put our pet down and it was extremely hard, but they bent over backwards to accommodate us and make things as easy as possible. They made something I consider to be extremely painful much less so. Very understanding and friendly staff. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who worked there and made the process so smooth.
