An awesome place for getting my Hair Styled (by Micki - lost track of the number of years she has been my Hair Stylist) every 5-6 weeks, and occasionally a Gentlemen's Pedicure and a Gentleman's Manicure (by Stephanie). I always walk out feeling like I am in Cloud 9. My Score: 5☆ out of 5☆.

I got my wedding hair and makeup done this year in June here... The hair style was pretty good but unfortunately fell out very quickly. This isn't even the part I was most upset with. When I got my makeup done..it was completely awful and I told the makeup artist I really disliked it.. I even started to tear up... It looked extremely amateur.. Eye lashes sticking together, blotched/makeup lines noticeable, eyeliner wasn't even drawn on all the way! She tried to fix it but continually made it worse.. I just asked her to remove it as I hated it so much. Worse thing is.. They still charged me FULL price for the makeup even though I left feeling completely horrible and had more work to do than I did coming in (as the lady didn't even remove the rest of the makeup off my face like I asked her to) Worst way to start my wedding day... Never again will I go there.

The staff are very professional and friendly. I've had a number of services here - haircuts, pedicures and waxing. The spa is clean, the rooms are private and comfortable. Stephanie is a waxing queen! She is so quick and efficient.

Micki, you can never retire. You aren't only a stylist you are an artistic genius! If you have never tried the Gilded Pear, you need to. The staff is as diversified as the services they offer! Follow them on Facebook and you will receive their daily specials. I have followed my artistic genius to a few salons......and she has told me that Bonnie is the best boss!

I have gone to the Gilded Pear for years and for the most part they have been really good. I’m writing this review for feedback to the Gilded Pear. My stylist was Sherrie M. I brought in a picture of the style I wanted which I always do when getting my hair cut I know I won’t look like the model but I have always gotten the cut I wanted, the stylist continuously looks at the photo while doing my cut. This was not the case with Sherrie, she seemed edgy when she came to get me. I showed her the picture she barely glanced at it and did not look at it again. She washed my hair with no head massage, I have never had a stylist not do a head massage. When she was cutting my hair I could tell it was not the cut I had asked for. Then she started to style it and it was more in the style of a bob which was clearly not the style in the photo. I said something to her and she seemed annoyed she had commented earlier she still had to cut her son’s hair and she was just done with cutting hair. She told me well she did the cut just styled it different. Why?? I wanted the style I showed her that she really did not look at. She proceeded with the straightener to yank and pull not really doing a great job. When you look at the picture there were clearly a lot of layers to the cut, my hair does not have layers at all it straight everywhere. I rated a 3 star only because this is not against Gilded Pear but more no respect for the stylist you have working for you. Her attitude and lack of paying attention to what I wanted has given me second thoughts of returning. I tipped her less than 10%, felt like tipping nothing but it is the Christmas season. I’m hoping it was something to show her it was not an impressive experience for her customer.

Liana and all of the hair stylists are awesome! Very talented and knowledgeable about products. Stephanie and all of the estheticians are very skilled and you'll never walk away disappointed!!!

Terrible place, I guess I did not fit the description of ideal client. Could not book an appointment, they said they were full no problem, I called back a few weeks later, she basically slipped they had opening but refused to follow through with a booking. This is my second time trying to give the terrible hair place a second chance. I guess one star it is. This place is lucky enough to get that.

This salon has it all . The new and veteran staff can create ANYTHING. Total WOW experience.
