★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wish I could rate my stay but cannot. I can only rate my experience from reserving a room to being denied a room at arrival.
Before i left Vancouver Island i called to reserve a room for the night.
The girl working at the time said she would charge the card and email me a receipt.
In the 5 hours of travel i never received a call in regards to my booking which had to be paid in advanced.
Once arriving in Gibsons i decided to check in to the hotel first.
Got to the hotel and i cant even describe the level of customer service as there was absolutley nothing !
It felt like i was talking to a corpse.
She said we could not stay there because wr didnt not have a credit card.
I told her the girl booking it earlier said she would use the card wr gave her visa / debit and that it would be fine.
I had to ask her to call the manager.
After 15 minutes of her ignoring my questions and eye rolling and chuckling she called a manager but walked away from the front desk.
She came back and suggested we find a different hotel at 7:00pm.
As someone who works in the hospitality industry with over 20 years of customer service experience this was my WORST experience ever !
Lian, who was working really needs to get some more training.
This was a disaster booking.
Always make sure a business is accredited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great, friendly staff, nice sized room, comfy bed and pillows. They went above and beyond when I left my jacket there in terms of locating it and mailing it in a very timely manner to me (I live on the Mainland). I recommend this hotel 100% !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to stay in Gibsons. Rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are friendly and quick. The reception desk is open all night so you can arrive late (others in the area close up as early as 9pm).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was clean, except for the pink mold around the tap and the little (inaccessible) balcony in front of the room. The A/C was working, but every time it wanted to stop, there was a cracking noise so during night time, it was a bit of an issue ( I used my earplugs and slept well anyway). I liked the fridge/freezer, TV, overall cleanness, coffee machine, microwave oven and the shades. Bed was ok. We haven't used the pool, but my wife used the Gym and it was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super cute hotel!! Large rooms and very clean. service was friendly efficient and fast. Pool isn't the greatest but warm and we had a good time. No breakfast because of covid

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel was beautiful, the staff was super friendly and our king room was large. We also got the pool to ourselves 2 times during our stay which was awesome. The location is great and right across from a local pub (great fish and chips!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our 3rd time staying at the Garden Hotel. This time we brought more family members and booked 3 rooms and they were as impressed as we are. Once again we enjoyed a wonderful stay. This is not a fancy hotel but the staff are friendly, the rooms spatious and comfortable. We made great use of the gym, pool and sauna. I'm sure you could nitpick the details if you were so inclined - this is not the Hilton - but if you want a safe, clean, cozy and friendly place for a family vacation that offers great value for your money, Garden Hotel tops our list! We look forward to our next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful hotel and beautiful courtyard ( great in summer but also in winter). My grandson enjoyed feeding the fish in the pond. We were very appreciative that we could use the laundry facilities and make room changes to be closer together (family trip with two rooms). Overall very helpful, professional, and kind front desk. Rooms were clean and bathrooms spotless and updated. Clean and safe spaces with beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby... very cozy on the frosty and windy weekend? five stars!!
