★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i would not recommend gfl company for garbage pickup. have been paying their invoices on time they went and suspended our account. showed them proof they were paid, GFL did not offer any apologies for their own mix up. i told them to remove their bins they did not, citing need 30 days notice. then they purposely miss days of pick up. and when they went to do garbage pick up they CHARGED US EXTRA PICK UP THAT THEY MISSED.! I AM REFUSING TO PAY SUCH TRUMPED UP CHARGES. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL THERE ARE BETTER GARBAGE COLLECTORS THAN THIS ONE. NO STARS FOR THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY CALGARY LOCATION.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a joke, So is some of the Drivers, Tried to charge me a fee for someone in his way loading a truck, He could not wait more than 30 seconds, before he drove off swearing! The office insists on sending a rude email saying the driver could not get to bin, Once I confront them with the video footage of the driver actions they seem to drop the extra fees, I was pushed to this company due to the SALE of EnviroCan. I found that the sales people pushed me into a contract right before the end of the year. So I signed. Then Jan 2nd I get a email canceling one of my location, Why was this not told to me sooner. BAIT AND HOOK!!! Stay away for this company, BAD drivers, BAD management, Just plain and simple BAD company to deal with! I would recommend look else where!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They picked up garbage from a commercial building next to a residential area at 5:19am on Victoria Day. Calgary Noise Bylaws do not allow this before 6:30am weekdays, and 9 am on Sundays and holidays. I contacted bylaw and filed a complaint, I will also be complaining to the property manager. If you don't want angry neighbours calling you, then I wouldn't use GFL's services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not surprised by the other bad reviews on here. One of their drivers almost turned into me yesterday so when I honked at him to let him know (you know so he wouldn't kill me), he proceeded to lean on his horn and yell out his window at me... in the company truck. Says enough about this company to me that they would have someone who doesn't know how to drive and bad road rage as an employee driving a truck of that size.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for interview and road test was told I had a job,told will get call for drug/alcohol test never heard back from them at all about it. They dont even have the courtesy to call you back not cool! Got different job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I tell you about GFL...well nothing good. 5 times now, my bins have been missed. This is a regular occurence as you can see as were less then 7 months into service with them. I get excuse after excuse every single time they arent picked up. Now if there is excess everywhere, I have to pick it up, even though they cant keep their scheduled days. Carol, unprofessional sale rep. I phoned in a few times, unprofessional, rude, and when I challenged them, all of a sudden name calling comes out. Seriously, do not use these guys. I will never ever recommend them to anyone ever or any company. My company has a lot more business coming up, and guess what, GFL ain't getting any of it.

I am writting this review because they deserved, just for curios came to see his website and surprise me read bad review from other people. sorry for them, for us this company nothing bad to said at all.
