I got a call from this company today Sept 8 2020. I was informed by the original caller that they had a project that required a general contractor to manage for them. When l started asking about the specifics of a job. He said he was new and told me l needed to speak to his supervisor. The supervisor wants to start talking about what there company is about. I am busy doing something so l ask him to wait. Then l ask him if he has a job for me, he says yes. Then l ask him to tell me about the job so l can tell him if l can do it or not. He says yes they have a job and then starts telling me what his company does. I stopped him befor he could finish his first sentence and asked him for details about the job. He says to me "You know what lm going to look for someone else". Then hangs up. So here l am thinking l may have lost this job and want to call him back and explain to him that l was very focused and busy at the time they called. I looked up get assist and find they just want to be a middleman for my company by sending me leads. So .. at that point it was a good guess they didn't have anything for me So l look up up reviews on google fro GetAssit. I belive all the other contractors who are complaining they lied to them. Why .... because two people on the same phone call from this company lied to me about a job they had when their real motive was to get my credit card number. Dont belive their 5 star reviews. Anyone can hire a call center in Asia to make fake reviews online for a small price. Ask them for references from contractors who are getting work from this company. I bet you they will tell you it is a privacy issue they cant give that out. Imagine us contractors telling our prospects that we cant give them referrals. If you decide to do business with this company make sure their promises are written in an email to you.

Hi All, Opened my GetAssist Business Account on May 14, 2021. I am based in Edmonton, trying to establish a Small Local Handyman Business. Having read all the reviews, I decided to experience it myself and post the developments and change my Star ratings accordingly. The reason I started with 2 stars is that, the sales team rep. P.E. (Using initials, withholding the name) forgot to mention to me over the phone that it is a one year binding contract. (It was a critical point and should have been disclosed and mentioned in detail and upfront. The conversation and payment transaction were all done over the phone call) 1. I discussed a monthly plan $31.58, agreed to pay the extra $99 "setup fee" for monthly plans. I told the GetAssist rep that I would like to try them out and if I am not happy I can cancel it, she said Yes, I can cancel it anytime if I was not happy. I asked her to put these notes in her system so that when time comes their colleagues will have a record about my wish to cancel and her agreement to it. Upon reviewing the contract details in the email that evening, it clearly stated that it was a one year contract with monthly plan. Next day we had a Walk Through session of their Website and App settings etc. I raised my concerns again as by that time I had a chance to go through the Google Reviews as well as BBB Complaints and she said that the notes about cancellation are in the system and I will have no trouble cancelling should I chose to do so. We also discussed their Auto Renewal Policy and people's complaints. That will be discussed when the time comes! The session went well. I asked her how many Handymen are registered with GetAssist, she replied after checking the system that there is only ONE in Western Canada and I should expect to be busy. So now I am registered online and updated my profile in GetAssist, downloaded their App and Messenger and waiting for my In Box to start filling up with Handyman Job requests. I will keep you all posted to see it through!

I tried out GetAssist a couple of years ago, and got zero results whatsoever. I did have a handful of inquiries within the 12 months, however not a single one in the actual city where I operate. There were no issues with the account/profile setup, it was up and running from day one, just zero people in my area trying to contact my business. After one useless year, I was obviously not interested in throwing away any more money, so contacted GetAssist to cancel to avoid being charged for another year. And that was that. They never charged my credit card again. All in all they were easy enough to deal with, but zero leads in an entire year is fishy. I would never recommend this company to anyone looking to increase sales.

When the sales lady tried to get me to sign up, she clearly stated that we could go on a trial for a couple of months, they would not want to charge me if it wasn’t working. I’ve decided it wasn’t working, and until the day I contacted them to cancel, I had zero leads. On the day I tried canceling , I got my first lead. Turned out to be useless. When I contacted them to counsel, they replied it’s a one year deal and there is no cancellation. I recommend you stay away from this company, what a SCAM!!!!

Your costumer service number doesn’t work and just forwards me to voice mail every time. I’ve been calling every hour and still so answer. You took money from my friend and aren’t answering your calls to fix the problem. We are going to have to report this to the bank if you can’t answer.

I've been with Getassist for a while now and every time I need something it takes no time at all to find the right person and company for the job!!!! Love how easy it makes finding respectable , hard working people to do anything I need. Very fast as well. I highly recommend.

Getassist has been awesome so far! After Krystal got me set up, things have been going so great! I really appreciate that she took the time to meet with me and address any questions I had! Really looking forward to what's coming next for my company!
