Wild Rose Cakes is a boutique cake studio offering custom designed and hand-crafted sweets, cakes and cupcakes. We create beautiful products with an emphasis on taste for our clients to enjoy on their special day. Our signature cake flavors, buttercream, and decorated sweets are all baked with love, created from only the finest, freshest and highest quality ingredients available. We pride ourselves on not only the beauty of each product, but also the importance of taste.
Kristianna (owner and designer) works closely with each client to offer a personal touch, paying close attention to detail to bring your vision into reality. The client experience from start to finish is a highly enjoyable process that we aim to provide as a special, personable and effortless one. We only wish to provide an exceptional service, exceed expectations and to create wonderful, lasting memories for our clients.
Kristianna Squirechuk is a graduate of Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionery Arts in Toronto, ON. It was there that she had the opportunity to learn the latest dessert stylings from Toronto`s industry professionals. It has always been her passion and dream to make people happy through beautiful cakes. And as such, each cake is made with her passion and acute attention to detail. Kristianna continues to perfect her pastry art as a pastry chef at the local famed Duchess Bake Shop.
Every cake that leaves the Wild Rose Cakes kitchen is absolutely filled to the brim with love. Kristianna combines all of the sophistication of your vision with her own unique style to create a one of a kind centerpieces for your most special celebrations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is the best!! I’ve ordered many times from wild rose from cakes, cupcakes, to these adorable gender reveal mini cupcakes - they are always so good and look amazing. Her cookies from her shop are too die for. I love their stuff because it’s flavourful but not overly sweet like cheaper cakes and cupcakes.

We still have some left over from our wedding and are still eating it a week later. Highly recommend for all occasions if you want an elegant modern cake with the most unique flavours.

We got a taster box to try different flavours for our wedding cake and glad we did - we ended up loving a flavour we normally wouldn’t have picked (lavender lemon blueberry). The icing was rich and buttery without being too sweet. Customer service was prompt when we went to pick up the order as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As first timers, we were very impressed with the quality of the cakes (We got all three flavors in the picture).
Made with a Swiss meringue buttercream, each cake was light and delicate in comparison to the American traditional buttercream, which suited us more. Flavors were delicious and balanced; flavors were not competing but complimenting each other.
In terms of texture, the cakes were fluffy, light and surprisingly moist inside even when we didn't immediately eat the cakes after purchase.
The person that helped us, which might've been the owner, was knowledgeable and friendly as we asked about allergies (our girl is allergic to tree nuts).
Overall, highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A dream to work with for our wedding cake! We decided a bit later into planning that we wanted a cake, but the consult process was quick and easy! We purchased a tasting box which was a treat in and of itself! After our initial consult, we had a design nailed down and then I added cupcakes of our flavour. Then I added a second cupcake flavour. Then I saw a pressed flower design and decided I liked it more than our original…so I changed our design haha. The cake was absolutely amazing, delicious, and one of my favourite wedding elements. They make beautiful AND yummy cake, absolutely recommend for your wedding cake and desserts. It’s such a small detail but I’m so glad we invested in Wild Rose and her beautiful creations!
