About George P Buleziuk Centre Inc
Some 60 years ago, after the end of the second world war and armed with a dream, the Town of Russell partnered with the local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion to invest in the future of the area by building the Russell Memorial Arena.
From kid's hockey games, figure skating carnivals, ballet and belly dance classes, art workshops to walking and weight training, recreation activities bring people together every day in many ways. There is so much more going on than friendly competition and cheering from the sidelines; there is community building.

If you're used to big city prices, you'll realize right away that this place is a steal of a deal. 600+ person capacity, and it includes a superb kitchen, meeting room, stage, dance floor, and more! We hosted an epic Blues concert in this venue, featuring Big Dave McLean, and The Perpetrators, from Winnipeg. The acoustics in this building are surprisingly good, and it lends itself well to any genre. I've also seen some amazing Dance, Choir, and Visual Arts exhibits in this building, and it never fails to impress.
