We soon realized the spring had broke and the door wouldn’t open more than a few inches. A quick phone call to General Door Services and they dispatched a rep to save the day. We didn’t really have time to price check and reached out to friends who have experienced the same issue and when they heard the price we paid, they felt ripped off! I strongly recommend using General Door Services if you ever need help and you enjoy keeping money in your pockets instead of someone else’s!

I decided to get a second opinion... General Door Services were extremely prompt in meeting my needs. Sheldon the tech was extremely knowledgeable and repaired the door as new with in a couple of hours. I would highly recommend this company for ANY garage door issues. Thank you General Door Services

General Doors immediately had a technician to our house to repair the issue. He was able to piece back together the parts and reuse everything but a bracket. I honestly thought this was going to be a new garage assembly when the door came apart, so pleasantly surprised when they were able to do the repair. In the end making the repair super affordable. We will be using General Door Services for any future needs.
J	Jesse Moore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a door installed by you guys 4 months ago, it was installed incorrectly and because of that the door stopped opening after opening 3-quarters of the way and my wife hit the door because nobody assumes the garage door is going to be 1/4 open and checks before they leave the garage. Two guys came out to fix it said they couldn't find anything wrong and within 24 hours it was happening again. A third crew came out and said the door had been installed incorrectly the first time (incorrect hinge placement and the weight setting on the motor was not adjusted by the tech). This was missed by the second installer. The guys that came out the 2nd time even said that the bottom piece of the door should be replaced by your company and I still haven't heard an answer. Now I have received a bill for you fixing your mistake? I will not pay this fraudulent invoice. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB. I was not told there would be a charge at any point. Absolutely appalling behavior.
