Something that makes Gemini special is that we have the biggest store in Canada with nearly every prom dress in every size and color from every prominent designer. The majority of our floor space is dedicated to prom dresses. However, Gemini also provides services such as tailoring for any alterations or special changes you may want to make on the dress. These services are to ensure that your event is as amazing as you imagine it to be. Some other special things Gemini does is that is that we strive to never sell the same dress, in the same color to the same event.

All Shirley did was make excuses and show me a list of all the companies she has to contact to find out where the ordered dresses are. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS STORE!!
g	glennys chow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE - Ordered a dress in December and it never did arrive. We were originally told it would arrive in February or March. The dates kept getting pushed back and the latest was July! The person I dealt with on the phone was rude and condescending. They did not want to take any responsibility for the dress not arriving. The only positive was getting our money back. Save yourself the hassle and do not spend your money here.

Huge selection and really felt like Raegan went above and beyond to find the perfect dress for my daughter. She is plus size and they had many options and never felt body shamed ever. We even found one off the rack with no alterations needed!

I booked two appointments, was told that we could have up to three girls trying on dresses per appointment, which we thought was very accommodating. We get there to find that not only is it one girl per appointment, but one of my appointments wasn't even booked, even though it told me it booked both. I can't help but feel offended when, after explaining that we called two separate times and got the same answer of three girls per booking, to be questioned if we misunderstood the very specific conversation and instructions. Only two of us ended up being able to try on dresses, the lady who helped us was very kind and helpful and was honestly the best part of the appointment. Selection isn't bad, but overall most of the dresses are quite tacky, and I was honesty expecting better for such a wide selection. Wide selection does not equal quality or taste. Long story short, if you are looking for grad dresses, look at another store. You'll more than likely find something cheaper and less tacky, with appointments that actually book.

Lately it seems to be the trend for this place based on recent bad reviews. Terrible customer service, we got passed to 3 different consultants, I’m a bride , and had booked an appointment and is looking for a black dress . And because I didn’t want to wear the traditional white dress , I was no longer considered a bride and told to go look for a dress for myself , which is fine for a bit but it’s so chaotic upstairs and nobody came to check on us . I decided okay we can’t find anything up here I’m going to go to the front desk and ask a consultant for help , she asked to see pictures on my phone of all the black gowns that I wanted to try on , I had maybe 12 photos and all but 1 was in stock . She said all the dresses were probably in a warehouse cause nobody really wears black so they don’t feel the need to carry so much of it . And after being passed off to a third staff member, and after a very long time of waiting she brought back a blue dress for me to try on . They really need to get rid of the disgusting sandles/slippers they make you put on right when you walk in . They didn’t look clean at all . Honestly really disappointed and was really hoping for a fun experience.

However, when I went in December there was a sign that said "20% off everything in store!" So, me and my friend assumed that all of the dresses were 20% off (which is huge when you are paying 600+ dollars). However, when we went to pay, we were informed that only the dresses off the rack were on sale (and there are VERY few dresses that you can actually buy off the rack). I feel like the sign should have been more clear. On top of that, we had to pay $60 for shipping. I would understand paying $10-$20 dollars for shipping, but 60 is quite excessive. No other dress stores in Edmonton charge that much. My friend asked if she could take some time to think and come back on a later day, and she was told that she would have to pay $12 just to keep her measurements in the computer. Overall, I am quite happy with my dress but I am not sure if I would come back to Gemini in the future.

In the end, Suzanne was able to track the dress & it came in just in time! We really appreciated her time, effort & good communication! Thank you Suzanne!

So we went for grad dress shopping for my daughter. They have a huge selections. Overpriced but it’s what you expect for occasions dresses. We were told it’s best to put a deposit on the dress we were interested in so we payed $50. The consultant that helped us was lovely and very patient and that’s why we trusted her. We ended up going with another dress at a different store . So I went for my deposit and was told that I can only get store credit which I can understand . The next day I went with my daughter she picked earrings .When paying the owner Sam refused to give us the credit saying “ it’s a different category of purchase “ which doesn’t make sense , it’s the same store , same owners and same booking keeping. At the end I was done with this man who was there the day before when I was told specifically I could choose jewelry or shoes and approved it but he wasn’t going to give me the credit today. I told him then please give this $50 tip to the consultant who helped us . His response was “ the Indian girl ? “ . So disgusted by his disrespect to his employees . Never going there again and would never recommend it to any one.
