★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure if this review should fall under Best Buy, but... Awesome Service Geek Squad! the two guys in Medicine Hat, Alberta, On July 19th 2020, were friendly, knowledgeable. I was having trouble playing some games on my laptop, they knew immediately what games and why it wasn't running optimal. They helped me with an upgrade SSD, showed me how to take apart my laptop, install was just a couple hours, went back later to pick it up and it was sanitized, cleaned and I was very satisfied. One of the best experiences I have ever had with ANY store. I am sure they even did some simple maintenance fixes to make it run better even when I'm not gaming. 10/10!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a laptop that wouldn't boot so took it to Geek Squad for them to check out. Instead of booking it in, the tech suspected a common Windows issue following an automatic update. We had removed the battery the day before bringing it in and he had us reinstall it and it booted with no problem. Seems this is quite common and while he could have charged for his time, waived the fee and sent us on our way. Great to experience this kind of service and would highly recommend the Geek Squad in Medicine Hat.
