This is 5 stars only based on employee Edona who went the extra to try to solve the issue I was having. So here’s the story Well I had a Tv installed in Feb 2020. I was and still very pleased with the install. But intermittently my cable will only have sound no picture . I called geek squad and by rebooting my cable box I got a picture again but the problem was becoming more frequent and under geek squad recommendation I ordered a new cable box . This for a time solved my problem but it started acting up with the same problem sound and no picture . So I called geek squad again and was put through to a tech who told me to call the manufacturer without even helping me or trying to diagnose the issue which started my fire . So if purchasing Geek Squad coverage be aware if and issue arises under the manufacture warranty they won’t help you, this is not what I was told by the sales associate but it appears to be the deal . Best Buy or Geek squad fix this part of your service. I bought this warranty so I didn’t have to deal with any issues you guys deal with it. I would pay a little more if needed. After finding this out I went to the store I talked to a sales associate and he confirmed this and told me to speak with a geek squad manager named Zipher who was no help said it the way it is I informed him that they need to let the sales guys know this but he didn’t care. But Edona a customer service rep asked me to wait a minute and went to talk to some one else his name was Joshuwa . These two employees were able to get me a new tv and set up a install date. They are the reason for the 5 star review As I have had this issue from installation and I was just want some tech help not a new tv So geek squad don’t make people go through the manufacture you have better resources to deal with that then a consumer. charge a little more if required .Geek Squad coverage is suppose to be hastle free make the plan just that. Thanks to Edona and Joshuwa again for coming up with a solution to the situation It’s greatly appreciated!!

Absolute worst customer service ever. NEVER buy the extended phone warranty. I started this process Oct 26 I have now made 6 calls and still dont have a new phone. I just got told today they may not have the right one now so in 3 to 5 business days I may recieve a phone or a gift card they dont know. I was promised one would be here 3 days ago. So frustrating and I keep getting completely different answers from everyone I talked to. No wonder they dont have a complaints line it would be completely over ran.
