Terry Morrison
Terry's commitment to service and the customer experience is what motivated him to create GasTech, an after market heating service company and has successfully broadened the services offered to include installation of gas lines, fireplaces , garage heaters and furnaces.

Terry’s belief in relationships was one of many reasons he joined with Bill to create GasTech Heating and Fireplace. With over 40 years in the Fireplace Industry he brings a wealth of knowledge to assist customers, builders and contractors. Bill is committed to providing a solution to your heating needs. There were a few hiccups along the way as there often are on bigger jobs, but they made sure it was right, and for that I am very grateful. Highly recommend! (They did the whole job in the picture: cabinets, stone, fireplace)

Not impressed.
They cancelled the first appointment one hour before our appointment.
Came out a week later to clean and check operation.
Gas fireplace micro switch wire was off.
Tech which is NOT even licensed gas fitter hid the wire behind pilot igniter and did not hook it up.
Not sure why the micro switch wire is not hooked up?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ GasTech installed a natural gas line to our back deck for a BBQ. They quoted the job promptly and scheduled the job 4 days later. The office staff communicated well (Bryan) and the technician (Ryan) was excellent; you could tell he took pride in his work with a neat and tidy install. Super satisfied with the service and product. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The product and installation (garage furnace) were both very good (the installer and gas fitter were knowledgeable and friendly), but the information about the whole process was lacking. You need to have an information package for customers that details utility locate requirements for the homeowner, electrical requirements, possible trenching for gas lines, venting considerations (ie should a roofer be required) and other factors that the homeowner needs to arrange for or consider in advance of the actual installation. More information for customers would be a good idea.

While they are not the only place that has the fireplace I wanted, they have Bill - the most knowledgeable and friendly person you can wish for. He provided precious advice and scheduled the work in a timely manner. The fireplace was finished by Gerrit, who is very skillful and did an excellent job. I hope my review helps you to make the right choice and be at least as satisfied as I am now :)
