Issue 1 of 3: paid Mohammad for a formal diagnosis of a wheel noise. He diagnosed wheel bearings so I ordered wheel bearings. When I brought the car back after receiving parts I was welcomed by a different mechanic who diagnosed unevenly worn tires, contradicting Mohammad, so I held off on bearings and did other work. Wheel noise persisted as expected. Bought 4 new tires elsewhere and had them replaced and the noise is gone, thanks to other mechanic. Lost money due to fees to return parts, thanks to Mohammad. Issue 2 of 3: Other work consisted of replacing table, tie rod end and a gasket + seal on oil cooler of a Nissan Rogue (common repair). After some work, Mohammad refused to repair seal part of the job stating it was more difficult to access and not leaking. 2 weeks later it is leaking from said seal. He only did half the job but still charged full price. Issue 3 of 3. On my second car, I asked for rear parking pads, rotors and handbrake hardware to be replaced. Mohammad said handbrake was too rusty to attempt. Brought it to different garage. They said yes rusty but common for those parts but still serviceable. Mohammad still charged me 200$ just for labor to replace only rear pads and rotors, and apparently heat them up because they were stuck a little. By any standard, this is excessive pricing for a very below grade welcome. I had to bring my vehicles to get properly resolved at another garage despite having paid Mohammad above market prices. He also made me park my own vehicle across street 300m away beside the dealership (sketchy). Very disappointed :( Now garage is closed for 3 weeks. I have rarely been so dissatisfied with a service. 3 out of 3 interactions (100%) over a 3 week period ended all negatively and costing me more money.

It was 10 and 30% more expensive than my last mechanic. It was my first time here, it became my last time.

Very honest, friendly and knowledgeable mechanic. Has very good prices compared to other mechanics on St-Jacques St and will always shop around for the best prices for auto parts for you. Was looking for a new mechanic a few years ago and since day 1 I knew he was one I could trust for very long, and I still do to this day. At one point my car was in not so good condition and needed some repairs. Instead of just charging me for repairs to get paid like most of the other mechanics do, he encouraged me to stop wasting money on my older car and look for a new one. Always better to call him to book appointment because he is very busy, which is a good sign as he has many loyal customers.

Got my brakes fixed there. He found a problem 3 canadian tires and 2 individual garages never found that I paid so much for before. Really cool mechanic!

Needed a quick fix for a dangling heat shield underneath the car. The garage is equipped with a lift and all the necessary tools to do the job.

I wished I could rate 0 star! Guys who read this comment, please check with other mechanics and never trust this garage, especially those who don't have technical information. It’s been almost 2 years since I go this garage. I trusted Mohammad each time at the price that he told me, which he doesn't deserve! Today, he told me the part price is 210$ and I found that it is better to postpone the reparation. By chance, I went to Canadian Tire and they told me the best quality is 129$ (+tax) which is way more cheaper than mohammad price. I pretty sure he took the advantage the previous time. Also, he charged me 30$for the detection of the problem that I told him before, He dosen't deserve any trust and I will never go there again and for sure I will let others not to go with him.

Great mechanics. Reasonable prices. Sometimes avaialable with no appointment. Its not a fancy garage, but you have job done with same quality like big brand garages. Thanks Mo and his team!
