I used to go there when I had a gaming console. The employees are very knowledgeable about anything related to games. The store also has a great selection of games.

Great in store service, but they NEVER answer the phone. I just wanna know if a product is in stock before to travel there (as the online inventory is low)... But they never answer, it's been like that for years...

I've been an on/off customer of this place for years. One reason why years I left them was because they were always pushing me to buy more, and couldn't take a firm NO as answer. For several reasons I gave them a chance again, and things were good until last night/this morning. I preordered Smash Bros. Ultimate, and I have an English response on my cells answering machine. Staff couldn't be bothered to EVEN TRY to speak English to the person giving them THIER MONEY. Sort of like pissing off the boss. I called them up, asked to speak with the manger, nope he's too busy. Fine cancel the order I explained why, and I was told that Quebec is a country, and they have no legal obligation to speak English. I will agree that speaking English is a way of respecting the customer, just as when I work with people I speak in the language of their choice. Mutual respect, and in this case I receive NONE. This store staff is NUTS if they are so out of touch of reality they fail to realize they are in Canada, and English is an official language of this nation. I have NO QUAMS stating, you want my business, speak my language or at least try which what this EB Games does not do!

Went there because it said online they had a statue I wanted in stock. When I got there, the guy said someone reserved it (Without a deposit) 2 weeks ago. He then calls the person to know if he still wanted it instead of giving it to me after being 2 weeks in the backstore because of that person. The person said: "Yes, I'll pick it up in a week" and the guy accepted. Genius.

Great store with a good selection of gaming accessories and loot. The variety of games in EB at least in Canada has taken a big plummet and most of what you can find in store is often better purchased online through your respective console platform’s store of choice. I enjoyed my time there regardless but it’s more of a loot store akin to to Zing (an EB games merchandise based store) than an actual EB games of days gone by. Staff can be a bit scattered too especially on the busiest days.

Called yesterday to see if I could be placed on the PS5 waiting list. The person who answered the phone stated they do not have a list (their location’s choice) because they frequently receive shipments. Without my asking, he told me they would receive some this week and that I should call every day. I called this Morning and sure enough, they had received a batch. I asked if they had enough to last until I got there (I travelled 60 km), and he assured me they would. Indeed, I got there and I was able to purchase it. What I appreciated was his honesty and helpfulness. No vague « we don’t know » « we can’t say for sure » that I was getting from every other EB game location. It’s appreciated!
