★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For what it is, the Gables Motel is wonderful. The gentleman who lives on site (I didn't catch his name!) was incredibly hospitable. This especially shown through when there was an issue with our booking at check-in, and booking.com was not willing to help. You truly couldn't ask for a better location, and the heat in the room works incredibly well. There was a Keurig with cream, sugar and Splenda. They sell items in the lobby, such as snacks, souvenirs, toiletries, and ice. Liquor store and grocery are a hop skip and a jump away!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Gables Motel is a wonderful location to unwind. Richard was wholeheartedly welcoming and hospitable despite my late hours checkin. The staff exceeded expectations and made me feel right at home. The rooms are luxurious and equipped with everything you'll need for a relaxing stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the heating system worked flawlessly. Gables Motel was a fantastic experience for me, and I will only stay here when I return to Radium. Look no further if you're in Radium Hotsprings!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Way above average staff, very friendly, ++ helpful, welcoming front staff, room was a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. Overall a really good pet friendly budget option. Short walk to restaurants, easy access to the highway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was greeted by Tom after a last-minute booking and he was so hospitable. This is a quaint motel with wonderful amenities like the Keurig machine and real cream in the mini fridge. The towels are very fluffy and soft - a nice touch. Thank you for hosting us!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The little luxuries of a hotel but in a motel. Warm and clean. The linens are white and clean. Kurig coffee makers with ceramic cups and silver spoons. The towels are plentiful and the cloths are folded fancy. They even put chocolate on the pillows. The staff was extremely helpful and showed me to my room and offered to help with the bags.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the Gables motel! The room was clean and well stocked- with a cute little towel sculpture on the tub too. It’s off the main road but we were not disturbed by traffic noise at all. The front desk has everything you could need (discounted tickets for the springs, beach towels, food recommendations,map etc)
Plus we got to wake up to this view!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very glad I got to stop here on a long road trip through Canada. The room wasn't huge but was very comfy and cozy and are perfect for a motel in a town like Radium Hot Springs. However, the best part of the stay was Tom, who actually lives on site. He was super friendly and really did a great job of describing all the attractions the town has to offer. It wasn't on my original plan but I really appreciate Tom for making my short stay in Radium Hot Springs memorable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn’t register the 4.5 star rating before booking a room for a a trip this weekend where we were only passing through and just needed a spot to rest our heads. We were absolutely blown away by how hospitable the staff were. I spoke to Richard on the phone who was very warm and kind. When we arrived near 1am we were greeted with enthusiasm and warmth by Tom - who despite the late hour was helpful, hospitable, friendly, and engaging. The rooms were well appointed with hotel-style amenities, and the bed was absurdly comfortable. This is the only place in the vicinity I will ever consider staying. Thank you to both Richard and Tom for an unreal experience
