Gorgeous park with beautiful clear lakes surrounded by an amazing and special landscape. The park is on the Frontenac Axis, part of the Canadian Shield. Clustered campsites can be a little too close at times, and some campsites don't have easy water access. Food bins are provided with each campsite, along with a shared outhouse/thunder-box. Fishing is good on the interior lakes, and wildlife can include deer, porcupines, otters, beavers, skunks, and yahoo's. Excellent park for hiking, canoeing/kayaking and winter camping. Also, Frontenac Outfitters is on the edge of the park and have rentals, paddling gear and camping gear.

Great place to snowshoe or cross country skill in the winter. Lots of different length trails with available equipment rental. Lovely way to spend the day with family or friends

Great park. Lots of hiking. Great back country sites. Did the Little Salmon Lake loop (11km). Moderately difficult beatiful trail with lots of wood platforms over ponds. Saw a few great sites that we intend to camp at some point. Great experience.

It is nice secluded place in East. Donot expect all those amenities you get at recreational park. This is kind of back country park. It has tonnes of hiking trails. On weekends, its self service and cash only.

A great provincial park with lots of winter options. We brought our snowshoes and hiked about 4km. We went mid-week during the day, but we didn't see anyone else other than in the parking lot. You have to pay a small fee ($15) for parking but it is worth it.

Lovely provincial park with extremely well marked trails. Did the small slide lake loop and absolutely amazing. It is a moderate terrain with lots of climbing rocks which is a good change from city. Highly recommended this trail.
