Hell for an introvert. Extremely frustrating experience. Partly our fault, we assumed because it served breakfast it was going to be similar to a cafe. However, we had to order at the counter so we were under pressure to make a decision, all the while more people arrived behind us so the area became crowded. Not great especially with covid. We ordered our meals but the server didn't give me a chance to order drinks etc before she had put through the order, prepared the buzzer, got the payments ready. I had to interject and ordered 2 Cappuccinos only to be told they only serve drip coffee and we could go to the cafe next door but not bring the coffee over to have with our meals. I cancelled the order and left. Brunch at the weekend is supposed to be a relaxed, calm experience.

Make sure you come at least 30 minutes before closing because they probably won’t serve you. My partner and I showed up about 10 minutes before closing and after deciding what I wanted to order, the cashier told me that they were shutting down. I showed her the time and asked if they closed at 2 and she said yes but she was just getting ready to cash out. I told her that we only wanted to order one breakfast sandwich and she proceeded to cash out right in front of us even though she hadn’t even started when we arrived. I understand that businesses have their closing times but considering that this is a restaurant that primarily serves eggs (takes about 3 minutes?) I feel like the owner wouldn’t be too happy to hear that his employees are turning down customers before closing time.

I ordered the flirt, thinking it was an open face eggs Benny, but the menu board is not very intuitive, as they have speech bubbles as the header that were blocked by their sign, mostly my fault on that one. It took 20 minutes to get my sandwich and tots, while a group of 4 behind me got their order first. The "over medium" eggs came up completely well done; you would think a place that mainly sells Benny's would get their eggs right. Had to ask for ketchup and was handed a wad of 3 packs that had something sticky sticking them together.

Food is good but we can't use our gift cards here. My colleagues and I were given the same reason for it for different times we've visited this place in the past week. We were told the machine for the gift card has low battery and can't be used. Please charge that machine or teach the staff how to use it. Thank you.

Yummy food for great prices. Friendly staff and was super helpful and nice with explaining the menu and recommendations. I have been here multiple times and always have a great experience. Waiting times for the weekend is a bit longer just because they are super busy, but it’s worth the wait.

The service was great and prompt, the dining hall was clean and well-kept, and the prices quite reasonable. Had the smooth talker and the wing-(wo)men and they were both hot and fresh, just a little underwhelming taste wise and flat.

This is such a great breakfast spot in First Street Market! The "Cute As A Button" benedict had amazing flavors with the miso, basil hollandaise, and chili oil. The "Big Softy" breakfast sandwich was perfectly soft scrambled. These dishes are quite indulgent with a lot of sauce, and heavy on the butter. The portions are on the smaller side but reasonably priced. It allows you to have the option to try multiple dishes on the menu or to order from other vendors. There was an order mishap where one of our dishes didn't get punched in correctly and resulted in a long wait for it to be remade. However, the staff was very apologetic and gave us a complimentary buttermilk waffle, which was delicious!

Friends with Benedicts is a nice and cozy place for brunch. The spot has a cool ambience and dΓ©cor. I had very tasty benedicts called Cute as a Button with sauteed mushrooms, brown sugar onions and chili oil. This spot has delicious benedicts with great presentation. The menu has a cool variety of bennies, breakfast sandwiches, bowls and waffles. Would come back here again to try other items on the menu like the flirt sandwich, pillow talk bowl and cluck dirty to waffle.
