Andrea at F.F. had immediately emailed me on Feb. 15th, 2022 to advise me that my part was out of stock and she was unsure when it would arrive. She offered to refund me or I could wait for the part to arrive - I chose to wait. I received several updates letting me know they did not forget about me and they were still waiting for the part. April 4th, 2022 the part arrived in my mailbox as promised. I was so impressed with their communication and promise to deliver! Great work Andrea/Tammy and Friendly Fire Team! Well done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Russ was helpful, answered all my questions did a great job on our fireplace. The glass had some clouding and melted fabric on it. It looks brand new. We have the yearly service and have never had a problem with our 15-year-old unit.

The installers, Ryan and Derek, were exceptional. It was a full day’s job, culminating in a detailed explanation of the various features our new fireplace has to offer. Both were friendly and highly professional.

We plan to purchase another fireplace for the basement from Friendly Fires. We finished it ourselves and it turned out very well! The two photos show what what FF installed and the finished fireplace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently purchased a complete system from Friendly fires,new stove and piping and the whole process was a treat.Our rep ( Eric Shaw ) was extremely helpful and made suggestions making the purchase easy.
The install was even better ,the weather wasn't the best but the two gentlemen handled it with a smile,it was a pleasure to have them here for the short time it took to install the system.
Denise and I are very happy and will recommend Friendly Fires to anyone in need of a new system or service to an existing one.

They were obviously accomplished at their jobs, kept everything tidy, were courteous and friendly and even had to shovel quite a bit of snow. We have been very impressed with everyone that we have worked with at Friendly Fires in Peterborough. They have helped us a lot through this process and dealt very patiently with the anxiety of trying to get something done during Covid. Great work and thank you all very much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great sales experience, I was shopping via website as I was remote and received great service from Heather. She was responsive to all my questions and when she didn't have an answer on hand I would receive an email usually the same day. The unit I wanted was out of stock and had a crazy long lead time but Heather made an informed recommendation for another unit that was available and in stock. I placed the order and was informed that installation was 45 days out and there was no way to better it. I appreciated the honesty and kept the order going so I could get in the queue. The delivery and installation team arrived on time and due to covid they were masked up and ready to work in my remote location.
Bobby and his associate did a professional job installing the new wood insert, I couldn't have been happier with the care they took in getting the unit in on my hardwood floors with no scratches. The hook up through the chimney to the stove was flawless and the unit works better than I could have imagined. Overall, the entire Friendly Fires Team Experience was exceptional and you can be sure I will promote you when I can. Thanks for making this purchase an easy one. I hope that if I need warranty service that the service team is as well managed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gas fireplace I purchased looks beautiful and I am very happy with how it operates! Spencer was the sales rep and he walked me through a number of units in the store helping me make the right decision. He then made it super easy to understand all the other costs involved related to install so I felt very comfortable before making the purchase, knowing I was making the right purchase. A part was on back order, so there was a bit of a wait (likely related to COVID), but once it came in the installation process was quick and the service staff who did the install were incredibly professional, knowledgeable and also walked me through all the features to ensure I understood how to operate and service my new fireplace. All of the staff I dealt with were fantastic, and I couldn’t be happier with the fireplace. 10/10 would recommend Friendly Fires in Peterborough!
