Best Grocery store in Canada

A	Alex Duncan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great layout and merchandising, especially for a lower-cost grocery store. The first FreshCo I’ve seen with real butcher and fish counters! Lots of good sales when we went.

I bought organic cereals a week ago with an expiry date of Oct 1. Went yesterday to return and get my money back and expired ones were still on the shelves. They have expired stuff all over the store . Check before you buy!

S	Suzy V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst place to shop. The cashiers are rude and aggressive and something needs to be done about it. I was bullied by the cashier asked for the manager and an assistant manager showed up. Then 3rd staff member joined in the bullying and it wasn't until a customer seeing and hearing everything that told them to back off that they stopped. This happened during Christmas and cashier was mad because I had a huge shopping cart full and I came to her. She threw all my groceries onto the belt all over the place to further instigate while the manager watched, luckily a customer saw everything. She approached me in the parking lot and said she experienced same aggressiveness but sometimes better to stay quiet. I thanked her and we both agreed terrible that they need better staff.
D	Derek May on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall a solid store, with cheap prices and a good selection of all major types of food. Always lots of parking too, and it's open until 10pm except on Sundays. They just opened some self check out stations too (late 2021), which is nice. There's a big "but" here though. The organization of most of the dry foods is brutal. For the most part they're organized by country of origin, but this creates a lot of confusion on where to find things, even for someone like me who's been going there for years. I don't care if my canned beans come from Turkey or Mexico or China, just put them all in one place please! Same with things like coffee, tea, juice, condiments, pickled veggies - many items like this can be found in five different areas of the store. Annoying. Otherwise a solid store though.
V	Vincenzo Folino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible experience stayed very calm security following you around staff at the front watching. Incredible check your expiration dates especially dairy. Hummus expired Aug 6 clean up your store guys.
