★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cabin was rustic as we expected and as advertised. It was VERY clean. Staff went over and above to make our stay awesome. Location is incredible. We were on a kayak trip. We will definitely return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent the first 3 nights of our honeymoon at the FRL, and we didn't want to leave! Jean and the management team were awesome, and even helped us by picking up our order at Canadian Tire in town. Special shout out to Keith & Clayton for making us feel so welcome from the moment we got there! Also, we got a visit from the "pet fox" on day 2, which was surreal! We recommend renting a canoe to check out the surrounding islands as well as going for a hike on the island. We spotted lots of mushrooms early August.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful island resort on the french river delta. Stayed for 4 nights and was not disappointed. Jean and her staff were extremely friendly and professional, and the cabins were just rustic enough with new appliances, Comfy beds and a screened in porch to keep away the bugs and night. Will definitely be returning. It is also pet friendly which was a bonus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We group of 8 person stayed in French River Lodge on Civic long weekend for three nights. We had a wonderful time there. Great fishing, we caught Walleyes, small months and pike like never that much before. Great view, good trail, beautiful quiet river, great Kayaking, great sunset! Jean and her staff are very helpful and nice! Besides their lovely dog LuLu and the prettiest HummingBirds are really the bonus. Also to mention the comfortable beds made us sleep so well. We love the place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best lodge I've ever been to. The fishing is world-class, especially for walleye and musky. Cabins are very nice and rustic, and lots of improvements have been made to the main lodge to make it more accommodating for guests. Staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Also really enjoyed the island fox.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where to start here, it is one of my favorite places in Canada. I love everything about this place.
We go to the French 3 or 4 times a year and we have nothing bad to say. o yes maybe we catch too many fish.. haha . no really this is a great experience, you will enjoy it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location was fantastic. Quiet, peaceful, with beautiful scenery. The staff were all very nice and very helpful. The cottage was spacious and comfortable, and we had a fantastic view from our huge porch (we were in cottage #4). The boat rental having the seats with backs was a huge plus. The fishing was fantastic. It was a perfect stay and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you French River Lodge!
