D	D Ham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019 was our second year fishing at the Bear's Den Lodge and we look forward to returning again. The facilities are very good and the cabins are kept clean, which makes it a pleasure to stay. We rent boats, in which case the motors are kept in excellent working condition, along with the boats themselves. The owners are friendly and helpful, along with the staff that work at the Hartley Bay Marina. I highly recommend Bear's Den if you are looking for a great place to stay and fish.

I've never had an issue reserving a boat, but I call ahead a month or so to make sure they are not rented out. I'm a camper so I've yet to try the cabins, but I've done a walk around out of curiosity and they are decent and clean. Brenda, Mike and Joe are very friendly and have always taken good care of us. I'll be back for my second bi-annual trip in the fall, I can't wait to come back to the french!

Brenda & Joe made sure everything was there for me including arranging a guide. The fishing was good & I caught the species I was looking for. The Delta is a beautiful part of Ontario that doesn't have the heavy boat traffic of other areas. The cottage I stayed in was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Bear's Den lodge.
M	Mark Walker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bear’s Den Lodge is the perfect place to get away from it all and catch a mess of fish! Brenda, Art and Joe took great care of us. We did the American plan. Art’s got a deft touch in the kitchen: pork chops, steak, bbq chicken, great breakfasts and packed lunches. We caught a ton of fish including sizeable pike and bass literally off the dock! But get out into the river, sneak into Pike Lake, motor up the channels to work weed lines for bass, pike and musky. We will be back!!

Our hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly; they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, while giving us space to just relax and enjoy their amazing space. The fishing was solid and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking; I can't wait to get back up there again!

The cottages are quite well equipped (no AC so watch the temps!) and the experience was impeccable. The entire experience was great with lots of good fishing spots just a few minutes' boat ride away. Highly recommend this place!

The cabins had a cozy rustic feel, and with the breeze through the cabin at night, it made for a great sleep. They come equipped with everything you need for the week. Richard and Brenda, were great! They gave us some great tips for the area and helped guide us to new spots safely. I strongly suggest booking a stay here. You won't be disappointed!
P	Patrick O'Donovan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent the last weekend of September at bearsden lodge, took my two boys (5&7) and my wife. We had an absolutely amazing stay here. Brenda and her husband were terrific hosts, we stayed in the "Eagle's nest" cabin and enjoyed some of the best home cooked meals you can imagine on their meal plan. Fishing was world class, lots of bass, pickerel and pike for days. Cabin was very clean and well appointed. We will definitely be back!
