β β β β β Surprisingly, this joint's poutine is one I am willing to hail as elite status. It was a jerk chicken fusion, so the nuanced spices elevated this simple dish into an entirely new experience. Music seamlessly encouraged a good time and the gaming systems were free of grime and that odd, foreign film of dried-out sweat that you'd typically find on your friend's guest controller.

β β β β β Amazing place to spend a day with your friends. Best $5 I ever spent. Unlimited play keeps smiles all around the place! I got the oxtail poutine and the jerk chicken Mac and cheese and they were sooooo good!!! Only giving it a 4/5 because it was a super long wait for the food (45 mins) but other than that my experience there was perfect! Tons of games to play and fun to be had

β β β β β Great retro arcade bar place. Went for my birthday last month. Food and drinks were priced well (and were good). Loved the atmosphere, friends and I had a good time. Only thing though is their stated VIP area. It didn't really feel like a VIP area. Liked the tables with the consoles better :)

β β β β β Love freeplay! It's a very fun place with cheap drinks. Staff members are really nice too. However, it gets really warm. They need to do something about that. As I was feeling very hot one of the staff members was kind enough to give me a t-shirt. Much appreciated. Other than that, one of my favorite arcade/bar.

β β β β β I loved it here! Came for an event and the games and drinks were great. The decor was also amazing! Jake, the owner, was so accommodating and let my girlfriend and I stay warm inside while they were closing up since there were mishaps with our ride home. Will definitely be back!

β β β β β I love this place. The retro games bring back so many memories of my childhood. Remember Atari? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? There are also a few table games as well; You can also reserve a table ahead of time if you prefer to play with a particular game console. Great place for a date night or night out with friends.

β β β β β Awesome place! Great bar food and staff! Went with two kids before 9pm because at 9pm it changes to an older crowd. Staff was accommodating and helpful.
Looking forward to return without kids!

β β β β β We had a fantastic time at FreePlay! The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating. They successfully assisted with a birthday party of 25+ guests (adults + 1 child), without any hassle. Communication was prompt and professional. They allowed me to bring a cake and provided utensils for it with a reasonable cake-cutting fee. We couldn't believe that we can play everything for only $5! The upstairs space was intimate enough so that we could make rounds with our guests while everyone had fun playing games of their choosing. We initially thought of going to places like D@v3 and Bu$ter$ or R3c R0o0m (modified spelling to eliminate searches), but we are so lucky we went to FreePlay instead. I think our guests had a much better social time. Loved the retro touches of the action figures and board games. Loved the spaces for photo ops. The only improvement I may suggest would be menus with pictures for old school folks like me who don't particularly like QR code menu scanning (but I get it given pandemic protocols) lol, but otherwise I recommend FreePlay for adults who want to go with a date, a small group, or celebration like we had :)
